Video games are no longer just a simple past time. Today's games are evolving into true works of art. Offering intriguing narratives, cinematic setpieces, and profound messages, games can entertain us for hundreds of hours.
I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now
Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera
And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden
I'd love to see games go the D&D route when it comes to mimics. Forget treasure chests, the floor just might eat you too. That is, if the door doesn't get you first.
Forget that, I just want to get rid of the 90% human enemies, 9.9999% humanoid enemies thing.

Haha. The rats and mimics in Dark Souls were the best.
Those gigantic rats look like they have mange and they make you sick with poison and theyre just effin grotesque!
The chest mimics in that game are cool too. Really long sprouting arms and legs and theyll whoop your butt if you're not careful.
This list should have included the ever popular doppleganger.
Those giants rats make me shudder! Frightful buggers, they are.
