"About Ben..."

Rely on Horror - Telltale Games’ critically acclaimed episodic game, The Walking Dead has no shortage of memorable characters. There’s Clementine, the cute little girl just trying to find her parents; Lee, the man with a mysterious past trying to keep her safe; Kenny, the family man who only wants to keep safe the only thing he has left in this world – Katjaa and Duck; Carly, Lilly and Doug, even Larry. All unique, special characters that have woven themselves a little place in our hearts.

And then there’s Ben.

I hate Ben, I really would of killed him in real life. Ben is to much of a rusk to others and himself. The group is better off with out him, and seriously he got Carley killed easily one of the best survivors in the group at the time.

Rick killed that inmate in the last episode of The Walking Dead for the same reason I would of killed Ben(ohh and I did kill him, and I also enjoyed doing it), hes to dangerous to be in the group or to have around.

I didn't kill him, I thought about it but I think he'll end up redeeming himself later on.

How many times did you say that to your self ever since you encountered Ben? lol

OcelotRigz4195d ago

Yeah i was the same, really wanted to kill the bastard but didn't because i thought he would redeem himself too, which he probably wont.
But i also did it because throughout the game ive tried being the "do the right thing" kinda guy, even in the face of Armageddon ala Rorschach. But man do Telltale really blur the line of what is 'right' in this game and thats why i love it, there is no easy clear cut decisions, they all have consequences.

Ive often paused the game at important decisions by pressing the PS button and just sit there thinking about what i should do.

Despite putting out other similar properties with Back to the Future: The Game and Jurassic Park: The Game, the products were largely met with a very mixed and ultimately tepid response from the public. The rampant acclaim and runaway success reached with The Walking Dead launched the developer into one of the most anticipated and favourable studios out there with one revolutionary product.

I think the walking dead story telling is amazing. I really love the games and think that they bring the respect of gaming story telling up in the world of entertainment in general :)
