Should You Buy An Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii Now?

but you can certainly buy the games for it. Especially considering they will work in the soon to be released wii-u.

As for ps3 and 360. Go for it. Prices are cheap on the systems and games. They both have a great back catalog of titles. Even though most will only want to focus on the newer ones, there is nothing wrong with going back and playing some of the platforms finest.

Not to mention that we know absolutely NOTHING about what the future holds for either platform company it makes good sense. Get in on the action while the getting is good.

But if you want to buy a cheap system for your kids, wii, or xbox 360 kinect would be the most ideal...
You don't want kids F#@King up your PS3. I consider it a console focused mainly for adults and I Luv it!

I'd say PS3. It has a future still planned for it, with support confirmed for the next few years, while Xbox, it's uncertain if anything new or special is coming after Halo 4 and GoW Judgement. Along with plus offering you 15+ free full games straight out of the box, it's hard to go wrong.

Wii is basically dead, the Wii U will replace it completely with the aspect of backwards compatibility.

Going by this sites reputation I'm not surprised the PlayStation would be the better deal.

But Yeah, if you by the Assassins Creed III PlayStation bundle you get a 500GB Hardrive, Assassins Creed III the game (with 4 exclusive missions only on PlayStation) and a 30 day voucher to PSN+

So its pretty good Its not bad, all 3 aren't bad.

Btw after gears and Halo MS planning on releasing more AAA exclusive arcade titles and possibly some more F2P games as well as regular 3rd party games. Just to tie them over for there world wide launch of the new Xbox later in 2013.

The Wii is a great deal sure, but at this point one might as well wait for the wiiu and its full backwards compatibility with Wii games.

I'd still recommend the ps3 and xbox, they still have support not to mention cheap games. If you were to get a wii i'd recommend the gamecube compatible one as it is great for gamecube games (which adds a tremendous value imo).

If you waited this long then I would hold off. More than likely the PS4 and NxtBox will be out 2014 and all the games this gen will be re-released Super HD version or be BC and be super cheap to pick up.

You realize if someone is in the market for a system that's most likely 2 years before we see those consoles. You kow they won't be release in any part of 2014 that's isn't the last 4 months of the year. Why wait that long with the price they are at and the selection of games available on all systems. Doesn't make much sense to me. But then again neither does waiting this long to get in on this generation of systems.

PS3 is a beast! Wanting a new box now is like eating a jelly doughnut and throwing it in the trash just as you get to the jelly! Now back to Killzone 3 in 'true' 7.1 digital surround sound and in 3D!

Well, it depends what you like. I personally would buy a PS3, at this point. I've had one since launch, but if I hadn't joined up yet, I would. It has many exclusives coming out next year...so, support will definitely be there.

It really does depend though. :)

Wii if you like/can find gamecube games (that they might not have on the Wii U's virual console or u don't feel like rebuying) and if you like the Gamecube controller, which is easiyl top 5 for best game controllers ever.
