Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2012) Preview - GameRevolution

GR: Despite everything planned for us, all I wanted to do was play Need For Speed: Most Wanted. I was looking forward to Criterion's game, even more so considering how much I enjoyed their previous Need For Speed title, Hot Pursuit. As bored as I had grown with racing games in general, Criterion seemed to hit a nice middle ground between three of the genre's tenets.

Holy crap I've been ignoring this so long I didn't even realize it was one of "the ones where the cops chase you."

That's all the info I needed. Sold.

I would be sold as well if CRITERION GAMES was not making the title they're HOTPURSUIT was disappointing good lord it reminded me tooooo much of Burnout Paradise. spirit of NEED FOR SPEED is not in criterion format. in each game the spirit of "BURNOUT" reigns in all their racing games.

no thank you!!!!!

Hot Pursuit was the best Need For Speed game built for this gen.

Sorry people but the original Most Wanted was a port.

The earlier game is Need for Speed: Most Wanted, which has the distinction of being one of the very best in the franchise. The second game comes from 2010, and is Need for Speed Hot Pursuit; which I'll talk about just as the Remastered version of the game has hit the stores."

I completely adore this game! In fact its probably my favorite racing game. I recently dusted off my xbox 360 to play Most Wanted 2005. Still a great game, though I do not remember there being such horrible performance. Like massive frame-pacing issues. screen tearing, latency. If any game ever truly needed to be remastered, it this one for sure!
