Upset? What an odd thing to say since I still have the Xbox 360 Collectors Edition for the first Mass Effect and my Xbox Live Gamertag used to be the N7 avatar that came with the package.

I was clarifying the topic title since if you read the details within it it says "While it may be Xbox 360-exclusive on launch, PS3 and PC gamers will no doubt be able to download it a few weeks after it’s available."

So please keep your PS3 or 360 fanboy comments to yourself. That's not why I corrected the title.

Am I the only one seeing MS exclusives (Halo,Forza and Gears) are not being made by the developers that made them great. Is this gonna be Microsoft's new trend. Milking old IPs with new developers. The only new IPs coming out are arcade or Kinect games. So is this why they have timed DLC?

All the main devs working on nextbox games. They allow the smaller teams to use the assets they already have. In the end timed exclusives work.

2-3 million more sales equals 20-35 million dollars in royalties for MS and that doesnt include DLC royalties!

MS still has more games than sony. I bet the average gamer rather play forza and halo over lbpk and psasbr!

You forgot Sony is supporting 3-4 pieces of hardware still. MS has more games than Sony (most of which are Kinect and arcade games) that are more for the casual market. If your comment on that the main developers are working on next gen turns out true, then it looks to me like MS will give up support for the 360 within a year of the next Xbox.

Wow... Soooooo much trolling!! Personally I dont care as long as its timed DLC, I dont plan on playing Mass Effect until the 3 games come out on PS3 so by then this DLC should be out on PS3 by now. I think that MS losing that exclusive was a big hit for them especially since I really dont have a good reason to buy a 360 now... Not that I ever did.

hes talking about games getting released years later on psn if ever. ME1 is 5 years later, psn hasnt gotten torchlight, bastion, gaurdian heroes and those 3 came out last year.

What's the point though? That logic goes both ways, doesn't by default make one console "must have" and the other "must not". Joe Danger didn't come out on 360 til like a year later. Peace Walker was a PSP exclusive for a year. Took many months for Kung Fu Live/ Kung Fu Impact to get on Live as well.

What's the game/set/match I'm missing? Yes 360 has Deadlight, Mark of the Ninja, Trials, Shadow Complex. But PS3 also has Journey, WipEout, Dead Nation, Unfinished Swan -next tuesday-. 360 has Sine Mora, PS3 has Soldner X-2. 360 has Minecraft with an 83% meta avg, PS3 has Dyad with an 83% avg.

Yes ME1 is 5 years later, but MGS4 is still exclusive 5 years later. Huge hole still looms there on the 360 between the MGS HD set and next year's MG Rising and Ground Zeroes. Huge hole, and there's no digital comic to fill in the gap, which 360 also got on the Marketplace for ME1, many months later.

Point is, best to call content firsts a draw and move on. Especially for an article that got it wrong in the 1st place.

MS has been known and slammed for doing timed exclusives That all he was saying. You come in talking about 1 day timed exclusives. Fact is on 360 vs ps3 MS tends to get games first and the better ones at that.

Gridlock: I was comparing ps3 and 360 dont care what vita,psp, or ps2 are doing. They aren't going against 360. Yea kinect and arcade games. MS aslso the only one this year with AAA games.

I think mark of the ninja, dust, deadlight, alan wake,trials evo, minecraft more than just for the casual.

Name 1 AAA ps3 game this year on the level of witcher 2 , forza, and halo.

To your other point, what constitutes a "better game" as far as downloadables?

XBLA summer game 'Deadlight' has a meta' avg of 68/100. Papo and Yo from the same window got a 72/100 on PSN. Alan Wake: American Nightmare has a 76/100 avg. Closure got an 81/100. XBLA games like Sine Mora and Dust have 83/100 averages, but so do Dyad and Sound Shapes on the PSN side. There's no great divide, quality avg is pretty similar.

The interview this article got it's information from mentioned nothing about timed exclusives. Gamble plainly said it releases Nov. 27, true he didn't specify all platforms, but didn't say anything about it being released nov. 27 "on xbox". They prob got it mixed up when later in the interview they were talking about Trilogy pack coming out later for PS3, or it's just a troll article.

This is bullshit. I've been waiting for this DLC for ages (since I finished the graphic novels), and now I have to wait even longer to play it on PS3 (or PC if I so choose)?

I hope it's only a week like how Sony and EA did it with Battlefield 3. Otherwise this shit needs to stop. It's ridiculously unfair to gamers who own and play on other platforms.

How about Microsoft takes their hands off everyone's games, and starts making some of their own.

Agreed...everyone is getting upset at the timed-dlc exclusivity but not the price. $15 is a bit much for something that should have been included in the campaign.

And I'm not just saying that...Aria had mentioned in the campaign that she wanted Omega back. This is a massive piece of the story that was clearly cut out to be released as content. I'm not saying I won't buy it, but I will unfortunately be waiting for a sale before I do.

Edit: You can actually buy ME3 used for 15 bucks...
