the folks at crashwiki do a pretty good job finding these eh

As I know PC has better performance, this is why I game on consoles:

Find the following sections where you see several bindings like this:

Code:
.m_PCBindings=(Name="F5&q uot;,Command="GBA_QuickSav e")
.m_PCBindings=(Name="F9&q uot;,Command="GBA_QuickLoa d")
Add the following lines underneath those:

Code:
.m_PCBindings=(Name="F10& quot;,Command="FOV 85",Control=False,Shift=F alse,Alt=False)
.m_PCBindings=(Name="F12& quot;,Command="FOV XXX",Control=False,Shift= False,Alt=False)
Find:

Code:
.BaseBindings=(Name="GBA_ Zoom",Command="Dis_Zo om")
Replace with:

Code:
.BaseBindings=(Name="Zoom In",Command="Dis_Zoom | FOV 35 | setbind RightMouseButton ZoomOut",Control=False,Sh ift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger =False,RightTrigger=False,bIgno reCtrl=False, bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt= False)
.BaseBindings=(Name="Zoom Out",Command="Dis_Zoo m | FOV XXX | setbind RightMouseButton ZoomIn",Control=False,Shi ft=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger= False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnor eCtrl=False,b IgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=F alse)

WTF?

The way you have it pasted makes it look confusing, but it isn't that hard really. And it's just an option if you want to increase the FOV, it doesn't mean everyone has to do it.

You could just play the game, just like on console, without touching the options and messing around with the ini. That's why I game on pc, you have those options. On consoles you don't have a choice.

i am bit of newbish at PC and i do these kind of stuff easily. it doesn't take genius to know how to copy and paste codes.

Norrison4207d ago

I'm surprised that you're able to use a PC. That's the easiest thing to do.

Never mentioned this in the 9/10 reviews >_>

kneon4208d ago

Any game in any way associated with Bethesda seems to be a major bug fest, it's par for the course with them.

And it also seems that any game associated with Bethesda gets an automatic score bump up by the reviewers despite all the bugs.

beerkeg4208d ago

Crashes happen in every game every once in a while, Dishonored is no exception, it doesn't mean they happen all the time.

They happen on console and pc. Why do you feel the need to make it out to be more than it is?

kneon4208d ago

I've been a programmer for almost 30 years so I know first hand that all software has bugs. But for some reason Bethesda consistently puts out among the buggiest games year after year after year.

Mariusmssj4207d ago

All Games that Bethesda publish or create a buggy mess!

beerkeg4207d ago (Edited 4207d ago )

But Dishonored isn't a buggy mess. I've got over 15 hours playtime with it and I haven't run into any bugs.

Have you actually played it kneon or are you just assuming it is a buggy mess?

And I don't know why you brought up being a programmer for 30 years, who cares? I've been gaming for over 30 years, so what, it has nothing to do with what we are talking about really. You seem to have said it just to give yourself some sort of superior authority on bugs.

I don't need to be a programmer to know you're just talking crap and don't know what you are talking about.

Every time a major PC game releases, i see an article like this on N4G.

Yet, for the past year since i really got into PC gaming, ive never had a single thing like this happen other than an issue with Modern Warfare (go figure).

Lol i dunno. I can't just be lucky. These problems must be decently rare...

Perjoss4208d ago

Agreed, sometimes if I get stuck in a game on a boss or a puzzle I click on over to the nearest PC forum for that game and all I see is people with crash problems and performance issues, either I'm lucky or these people are really unlucky because I never seem to have any troubles like this at all, and my PC was built about 3 years ago and I'm able to run most games on the highest settings.

The Magic of 'Dishonored’s' Blink

It’s a shame, really, that so few games have “borrowed” Dishonored’s Blink – in the right hands, such a power could be game-changing.

It felt kinda cheap to me… both in terms as a tactic, and game design

Abnor_Mal425d ago (Edited 425d ago )

There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.

Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.

sairenfox2099424d ago

The sequel changed some of the mechanics from the first game but it was still a very polished and enjoyable experience. You should definitely give it a shot sometime. The game's currently on sale on Steam

Abnor_Mal424d ago

Okay thanks for the heads up, will look out for it being on sale one day.

I really did like the first and played it back to back as soon as I finished the first play through.
