After 4 Viking: Battle for Asgard will be coming to Steam next week along with a graphical upgrade.
Twinfinite Writes: God of War takes Kratos from the pantheon of Greek mythology to the cold lands of Norse mythology. Here are a few other games with a focus on Norse myth, if you find your interest piqued.
It's high time we get another Valkyrie Profile. I'm so ready. I can't believe we've had to wait this long and we just got a mobile game...
Can we please just get another Age of Mythology? Lost many hours of my childhood to that game!

Sega wants to give you even more free games.
This game was so Epic! Although I don't usually play these type of games on the PC, Controls might take a few moments to get used to but I will definitely be picking this up.
If its only $20 I'll pick it up day 1 as thought it was a blast when it came out. If higher I'll likely wait as just too many new games still coming out. It wasn't a "great game" but it was a nice mix of God of War style visceral combat (more grounded though--where GoW is more speed and finesse Viking is more "berserker" style brutality that suits it and the character perfectly) and Kingdom Under Fire/Dynasty Warriors epic scaled battles (don't hold that against it though, lol) with just a little Fable thrown in. Sounds nuts but it came together remarkably well.
I always wondered where they could had taken it if they made a sequel as the idea was great, scale was pretty epic, and they did a nice job putting it all together in making something quite unique. It was a good game though IMO and am glad I'll be able to pick it up on PC at some point as its one genre that is pretty lacking on PC. The success of Darksiders it might have given them the idea to come out and release for PC finally as well.
I'll not hold my breathe but since the IP apparently isn't dead maybe they'll work on a sequel at some point now. The Total War games are awesome but I wouldn't mind Creative Assembly giving another go outside of Strategy titles (and with their new tech no less).
Hopefully it sells enough to persuade them into making a sequel, cause i fucking loved this game to death. The entire game reminded me of the old Conan films, even more so than the sad attempt from Conan the game :/
Not that I can think of, except of course for ones that already sold well pre sale. I was bored and turns out Viking sold about 750k copies (according to vgchartz anyways) between the 360/PS3 (actually more than I expected but far from a blockbuster).
It wouldn't take too much for it to top 1m really, especially after a few Steam Sales. Perhaps with enough support we'll get lucky (but not holding my breath). Even though profit might not be as high it would mean more of a possible fan base.
