Technically all a Remaster has to do to be a remaster is make it in a higher resolution.
People keep asking this dumb question when it would be very clear if they just looked up what a "master" actually was. Basically a remaster is where the same assets are recompiled to modern standards to create a new master, sometimes with a few minor tweaks.
The prices have been reduced for a few first-party PlayStation 3 collections, including God of War: Saga Collection at $17.99, Killzone Trilogy Collection at $20.89 and The Sly Collection at $11.57.
Pretty good deals for ppl who have never played any of these series, unfortunately I've played every single one except the Sly Cooper Collection.
Random but I can't imagine how crazy it would be if someone were to get a PS3 in 2015 cheap alongside all these collections cheap aswell(considering they've never played them). It's be like gaming heaven. Lol
Well, I bought a PS3 in 2012 and felt like gaming heaven with all the cheap games and stuff. Im sure anyone buying it now will feel the same way or even better :)
I still play my PS3 more than any other system...sans the VIta because I'm often not at home. Still tons of new games coming out for it, and I have to say, all these deals on older games as retailers are trying to clear out shelves for the coming holiday and next year are just icing on the cake. If I wasn't in the middle of a home remodeling project, and had my shelves available to store all of them, my collection would have increased substantially since last holiday.:)

Excellent, otherwise I would have avoided it like Infamous or God of war saga...
Why is KZ 1 HD being included within the trilogy coming as a surprise to anyone, am i missing something here?
Surely one of the biggest cases of stating the bloody obvious.
