'Retro City Rampage' Released After A Decade Of Development

"Hey, you! Yes, you, the one playing Dishonored and/or XCom. What would you say if I told you that there were THREE highly anticipated games released today? Yes, really. No, I’m not lying! You’ve just not been paying enough attention to the indie scene, and clearly need to try harder." - Dominic Tarason

someone review this game! i want to buy it but not 100% on it yet.. PS3/PSV for $15 is a steal for retro greatness but im buying Code of Princess today too.. Maybe ill make some trade deals for a PSN card.. I must be careful what i spend because SFxT & Ragnarok Odyssey are getting bought too..

It is worth it I highly recommend it! Got it last night and could not stop playing it. It truly is very fun and for $15 getting both PS3 and Vita copies along with cloud save and load from PS3 via Vita Vice versa. This is a true gem one of the things I like the most about the game is its all parodies.From the moment you start the game to end with a bunch of references like Duck Hunt. Try the demo out and see how you like it but I think its pure gold.

Totally worth the money, I'm having a blast playing it.

I will have a review up soon on brothersinsanity.com (Cheap plug) but here is what I can tell you so far. It is classic Grand Theft Auto. I mean CLASSIC which is before GTA III. Its is a top down shooter, but with 8 bit graphics. The soundtrack is all chiptunes that sound great, the game looks so retro and awesome, and there are TONS of hidden pop culture references, and hidden mini games. So much game so far for only $15!

To add onto the "retro", the developers added a pixel grid that resembles the pixel density (if thats the right way of putting it) of the GameBoy or mid 90's handheld gaming LCD screen, and it looks REALLY"retro" :)...

@Divine
I enjoyed the demo, I'd recommend playing the demo to see what its like
