Electronic Arts removes content from Battlefield 3's Aftermath and End Game DLC

DSOGaming writes: "And here we go again. It seems that EA has removed some content from Battlefield 3′s upcoming DLC, Aftermath and End Game. According to the official BF3 Twitter account, Aftermath was supposed to include new weapons, however it has been confirmed that both Aftermath and End Game won’t feature any new weapons."

I'm just curious, were you guaranteed all of the DLC that will ever come out for BF3 or Borderlands 2 when you purchased the season passes? I'd just like to find out what the marketing was like for these season passes, I never researched them because I didn't have the money or time for them, but it's still an interesting thought that these companies may have marketed the season pass in such a way that you thought you'd get all DLC. On the other hand, they may have made it clear that you'd only be saving on the main DLC (in the case of Borderlands 2).

And Borderlands, i didn't know it was gana have a season pass. they were promoting it on the counter on its release day. I'm 80% sure it read "All DLC" on it.

@SeekDev dunno about BF3 but Borderlands 2 have it clear that is the first 4 expansions DLC that they were already planning for the game, DLC like the mechromancer not included.

Aftermath replaced the weapons pack with a new game mode so really only the end game DLC pack will fill empty.

I don't mind though because I got BF3 Premium for free when EA/DICE/Sony goofed.

for about 10 hours couple weeks ago you could get Premium for free on PS3 by going to the BF3 store on PS3, it was listed as "free". it's a glitch.

Elite premium got their maps and shortly afterwards the map packs were available to buy at half price.

For both titles the problem stems from paying in advance. Neither titles are getting the quality of BC2 Vietnam expansion pack.

I have to say that the dlc packs for BF3 piss all over those for MW3. I bought a few of the MW packs on the cheap a while ago and they don't get as much use as BK or AK on Battlefield.

The service was constantly broken, Operations got canceled at the last minute due to "Technical issues".

The first two collection packs went 50% off about a week after their official release meaning it actually worked out cheaper in the end to buy the DLC content separately.

EA Games, where you get the least amount of value for your money. They just can't seem to figure out why Call of Duty is so popular. All they have to do is look at how much content gets released with a CoD game on day one with every single release. I've mentioned this before, but some people seem to think that because a map is bigger in Battlefield they get better value, despite the fact that BF games usually have far less maps, far less game modes, far less weapons and not to mention a far smaller community. I didn't like MW3, but I didn't get suckered into BF3, and I'm not going to get suckered into MoH.

What has that got to do with Battlefield 3 on 360/PS3? The only fun maps to play on BF 3 are the close quarters maps.. and 2 or 3 of the vanilla maps.

EA kinda screwed up BF3 on the consoles this time around.. The maps are just TOO big for the consoles compared to the 24 player cap.

This is so irritating, i bought premium to get more content (vehicles, maps AND weapons) The advert on the battlelog website clearly said we would be getting new weapons with these packs which is why i spent the money on premium.
