T1GN: "'Borderlands 2' takes place five years after the conclusion of the previous game. Handsome Jack used our original Vault Hunters to open up the vault and defeat the Destroyer. Eridium is now flourishing on Pandora, and Jack used this new mineral to seize control of the Hyperion Corporation. Now, a new group of Vault Hunters are making their way to Pandora. You play as one of four (soon to be five) Vault Hunters that have been lured into a trap by Handsome Jack. After surviving HJ’s dubious attack and being “rescued” by Claptrap, you start on your journey of revenge as either Axton, Maya, Zer0, or Salvador."

Although a great game, I had a little too much texture pop in on the PS3 for it to get a perfect score.

Great game, but no game is perfect.

Where are assault rifles? I mean I am lvl 28 Commando and I got like 5 or 6 good ( nothing special, just good ) assault rifles till now ... what about Tediore and Hyperion assault rifles ( my favorite ones of the first game -Hyperion ones were beasts- )?

Tons of very good sniper rifles, SMGs and shotguns which I am not interested in. I like assault rifles but it' s hard to play like this as commando. The game is very good, a great one with very few flaws ( I must say that I am convinced that enemies are dumber than the first game though ).

I can not believe that Gearbox has worsened the situation of the first game, there were already a few assault rifles than sniper rifles, but this is tragic ... It' s like 10 sniper, 1 ( usually bad ) assault ... WTF ; ;

I am not that happy Gearbox, expecially because the game is very good and I want to keep playing :/

I've found plenty of good weapons of all types. Don't know what you're talking about. Possibly just bad luck with finding weapons? Although, I'm currently playing as Zero (47) and I'll do more to my Maya character after I hit 50. But your reasoning for not being happy with Gearbox is quite hilarious. Just because you can't find a weapon YOU enjoy.

I had the opposite experience. I was always on the lookout for good sniper rifles and my brother and few friends kept getting the good ones, where I was always stuck with good AR's and Shottys. Granted, we traded a few and were all happy. Now at level 47, I've got great weapons of all kind, and an 11k damage + 30% bonus damage sniper rifle that is awesome! I've got AR's that do 3k+ a hit, SMGS with 2.5k+, etc. Just keep playing, you'll find incredible weapons to mess around with.

No. As I said I found 5 or 6 "good" assault rifles in about 28 levels. I am not that stupid that I can' t tell if a gun is trash/bad/average/good/nice or not.
For many reasons, examples: I have been playing videogames for something like 29 years, and I played like 700 hours the first Borderlands single player/multi/online.

So I think I know what I am talking about.

Where are Hyperion and Tediore assault rifles?
Torgue/Vladof/Dhal/Bandit are not nearly as good as those in the first game.
Hell, using commando class I always do more damages with sniper rifles than assault ones ( I am considering the average time to shoot down enemies, not the single shot damage ) ... go figure how good this class can be compared to assassin. Lack of balance it is called.

Now, since I am not saying this is a bad/average/trash game by any mean, and since I paid full price tag this game, add the fact I already was a Gearbox customer ... now: can I complain about the developer choices?

personaly i would give it a 4/5 or a 8/10.For not having as much loot and not really improving on anything but the story kind of,it feels like a huge expansion but i am enjoying it.Also it is difficult to play true valt hunter mode solo im currently lvl 40(axton)and my shield is 15000+ but it easily gets depleted by one enemy.So i just started a new game(as Zero) until some of my friends catch up.Also why the hell isnt there a black market in the 2nd playthrough,i've had 99 eridium since before i reached the highlands and u cant bank it or give it to your friends.

Get a better shield.. I'm also Axton (Lvl 50), and there is a perk which increases shield capacity and makes your shield charge faster and stuff lol

Great game. 5/5? No.4/5 i guess. Graphics are kinda messy at points with frame rate drop but generally lovely.
