One of the most widely anticipated showings at the 2012 Eurogamer Expo was the new Nintendo Home Console, the Wii U. When unveiled it was met by equal scepticism and excitement by press and gamers alike, as the thought of the possibilities and at the same time limitations sparked debates across the internet. One of the largest titles to be announced for a launch release on the console is ZombiU, a survival horror title with a rather interesting twist: If you die your corpse will become one of the infected that you’ll have to fight at a later time. The Parable team was really interested to get a playtest of the game at the event, so below we’ve given our individual first impressions on the title.
HPP's Josh crafts an unholy list of the Top 8 Spooky Games In Need a Sequel That Originated on Nintendo Platforms. From old to new, a gory list to dream about.
The title says the criteria was explicitly written to mention Eternal Darkness. I am happy to see House of the Dead: OVERKILL on here. With the rise of Grindhouse themes in the 2010s, (ie WET), this was one that was both entertaining and camp funny.
Would be nice to see a new Zombie game set in the UK again, some of the landmarks, old architecture and the like really fits in well with the genre.
Neil writes: "It's been a strange few weeks in the gaming world, with Triple-A releases continuing to be pushed back, allowing for the indie game scene to rule the roost. But if you're one of those players who are struggling to find games to play then the Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale is back to ensure that backlog of gaming experiences continues to grow. But what Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles are on sale during the week of 23rd-29th June 2020?"
London's a fantastic city, so it's no wonder it's featured in so many games. Here are 10 of the best video game representations of England's capital.
No thank you Gamespew. Not flipping through single pages of ads.
Also speaking of London, I'm pretty pumped for BLOOD AND TRUTH on PSVR
That picture reminds me of Shawn of the dead, i love that movie. :)
im very looking forward to this game, dunno there's something special about it, maybe cause it's a fresh launch title or its name??? anyway the game itself do look good especially that Birmingham trailer
This game seems to go back to TRUE survival horror, can't wait. Now if only this was an mmo...zombieU 2 pleasssseeee.
While the concept and the gameplay look pretty interesting. I'm a little disappointed with the graphics. I'm not a graphic whore nor do I expect this to look like current PC games. Still though looking at that HD trailer the graphics seem second rate current gen. The hands, arms, and certain textures look very mediocre.
I'll keep an eye out for this game. I just would of liked for a flagship title like this specific to the Wii U to come out swinging at the very least giving us a glimpse into next gen power.
Hmm not to sure about this game... seems a little racist to me... killing all those white zombies and all. thats why i skipped res5 last time because of all the black zombies in africa /s
p.s day 1
