James Bond hasn't been sipping martinis and firing his Walther in the game world for nearly as long as he has in movie theaters, but the gadget-loving secret agent's nearly 30-year history spanning more than 20 video games is almost unmatched in Hollywood, where video game tie-ins with the latest blockbusters are commonplace nowadays.
Rare has had an astonishing journey since being founded in 1985. But of the 125 titles released to date, which are the 7 best Rare games?
As Microsoft takes popular Xbox exclusives to other consoles, James Bond FPS Goldeneye 007 should get similar treatment on PS5.
Maybe it is time to just let Goldeneye go. People keep e-begging for this game and it came back in various iterations; remastered and original and in the end it was just meh. The game was a product of its time like Perfect Dark and Timesplitters.
WTMG's Leo Faria: "Whilst I need to agree that Everything or Nothing aged more noticeably than other gems from 2004, I was surprised with how exciting it is to play after all these years. It was EA pushing the medium to brand new territory, a game with the same kind of cast and set pieces you’d expect from a Hollywood blockbuster, but still fun enough as a video game, never forgetting that being entertaining to play was its main priority. We wouldn’t have had games like Alan Wake, Max Payne 3, and others, if it wasn’t for Everything or Nothing showing us how action movies and games could be meshed together into a beautiful, chaotic piece of dumb fun."
My personal second best Bond game behind GoldenEye 64. Looking forward to what IO Interactive has cooking.
Agent Under Fire was awesome too
QoS deserves a mention, no?
