WC - The many iterations of Grand Theft Auto have brought with them several great features, which have only improved as the game has moved on over the past decade. One feature is fun and fun alone.. everything else will be a bonus

iChii4214d ago

I would really enjoy car mods again.. Installing Nitro to cars was the sh*t back in the day..

r1sh124214d ago

The main things I want back:
Owning a business
Car mods
Multiple fighting styles
bicycles
(maybe the addition of skate boards)
The mini games like basketball etc..
the frenzy when you start going on a massacre
TANKS!

thats all I can think off right now, but Im sure theres more.
Quadbikes??

M_Prime4214d ago (Edited 4214d ago )

the ballad of Gay Tony technically brought in tanks. I know it was an APC but it was undestructible and had a cannon

also the mention 8 Balls autos to make cars blow up, I think in Gay Tony you can do that too

r1sh124213d ago

yeah, the APC's were 'mini tanks' and the cars with C4 in them. I really hope they bring back lots of the old things.

Like the schools, Flight school, driving school etc.

This^, GTA IV felt like a chore instead of a video game. Bring back the fun of the last-gen GTA games and I will be happy!

Outside_ofthe_Box4213d ago

GTA4 was fun to me... everything else on that game was a bonus.. sooo I agree with you.

When gta 5 comes out people will start to talk about gta 6 after 5 months. They shoud just make new gta every year
; ). Im kidding.. I just want the game already! And i want to kill hare krishnas with my car.

i_da_pappy4214d ago

i would say 2-3 years would be better if they add better innovation and not be like a certain game that comes out every year and nothing is new about it

claud34214d ago

I want funny cheats back... but has I said, I am happy with what the creators put In the game

MasterD9194214d ago (Edited 4214d ago )

I want the group of Elvis impersonators back from GTA2. That would not only break up the monotony of looking at the same citizens, but it would be fun to chase them. Even SR3 added mascots randomly walking around.

Buying businesses, buying items at hardware stores, modifying cars, weight fluctuation, tattoos/hair customization, and limb removal should ALL be included considering they were all in earlier games.

none of these are "forgotten features" for me. they are the reasons i thought gta4 was crap. it was a sequel but it was 10x shallower than the last few that came before it. everything "extra" to do was gone. the only thing to do was play the missions. boring.

still very much looking forward to the sequel, im hoping they dropped so many features just to simply get the engine up and running and what not. and the years that have past up to this point is them trying to make it much more feature filled.

also missed the gang wars. imo red dead was a much better game and felt more like a real sequel to gta

Cost of realistic looking movement.

Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…

Profchaos36d ago (Edited 36d ago )

Oh and hundreds of millions of dollars in revanue to boot.

Lots of complaints about gta ever since the hd era started and yet it's bugger than its ever been with gta vi up to 180 million trailer views alone. The next game is shaping it be be another genre defining game

MetalGearsofWar36d ago

They already learned they dont have to actually make a great game

sagapo36d ago

The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.

Zhipp35d ago (Edited 35d ago )

I did accidentally beat someone to death a couple times. An unfortunate mistake but besides that I didn't have any problems with the controlls

jznrpg36d ago

Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games

Profchaos36d ago

I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
