The Gaming Vault: "Angry Birds Trilogy is a release that is hard to sit down and make a decisive call about. Is this a half-assed port of a cell phone game or is it a full featured ‘budget’ release with hours upon hours of content? Eh. A little of column A, a little of column B…"
Today, Sony has released its charts for the month of March, sorted in PS3, PS4, PS Vita and PS One and PS2 Classics.
Infamous is set to take the number one spot of any next gen game released thus far. Im calling it.
Infamous SS is cheaper to buy on PSN than it is in retail stores by $10.
So I'm totally unsurprised it's doing so well :)
I'll say it again: the PS4 is more geared toward digital. This means it's likely for big titles to see proportionately more digital sales than their Xbox counterparts.
Just got the plat trophy 5 minutes ago. Def deserves all the sales it gets. Not as good as the other 2 infamous games but def the best launch window game I've played yet.
The Vita gets some love this month, with some interesting games cut some decent price cuts.
When it comes to Angry Birds Trilogy for the PS Vita, there are two pretty enormous elephants in the room, along with one slightly smaller one.
I love me some Angry Birds, but this really should stick to mobile devices. Activision desperate for a quick buck as usual.
The charm of Angry Birds was that it's one of the easiest/simplest games to play on the go, since Tetris. Plus it's cheap, with free updates of new levels.
3DS makes sense with the touch screen, though not for $30. Even $15 would be a lot. PS3/360 I don't get however. No touch screen, you're not on the go, and it'll set you back $40.It's just a cash grab.
Trilogy?? I don't see it as a trilogy when it's the damn same thing. Sigh, Activition & their obvious tricks to fool consumers, they never impress.
Just as I would expect from Activision, complete market exploitation.
