EA has announced the latest Mass Effect 3: Retaliation DLC which pits the players in treacherous environmental conditions against the collectors from Mass Effect 2.
The Collectors would be making a re-appearance in Mass Effect 3 Retaliation, the new Multiplayer DLC which would be free for everyone to download would take pre-existing maps and raise the environmental conditions.
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

Mass Effect 3 is remade, rebuilt, and remastered thanks to a huge Mass Effect mod which changes almost everything in the Bioware RPG, as we await Mass Effect 4

I love the free DLC, and cannot complain about the multiplayer considering that its a nice change of pace from the campaign...but I'd really love to see quality CAMPAIGN DLC like the Shadow Broker DLC in ME2.

Maybe in the Omega DLC a crazy cerberus scientist found a way to clone the collectors and use them as a private army.
