WC writes: There are few moments in videogames that manage to either underwhelm so severely as to undercut the collective experience of playing the game from start to finish, or be so odds with the journey that the destination feels so out of place, but it does happen, and more than we’d like. Of course, it’s all subjective. In recent conversation with a friend, he cited one of his favourite final boss battles as one of my worst (number 4 on this list). There will be many of you who read this and entirely disagree with my choices, waving your hands up in protest at some choices that made it on here whilst decrying ones that didn’t.

The PlayStation 3 may not have been the strongest generation for Sony, but there were still some diamonds in the rough that deserve a revisit as PS5 remasters.
Even if they could just remaster and put on PSVR2, some would still look great as VR titles and could do a whole lot to bolster the headset w these exclusives! I'd imagine the investment of reworking these titles into VR would be way less than building new games from the ground up, and they could be amazing experiences, and VR often makes flat games feel fresh again. The Resistance and Killzone games are particularly what I want to see!!
The time is perfect for a resistance fall of man game campaign coop multiplayer
Resistance was ok but Warhawk and Starhawk was better and kept me coming back for almost a decade of fun and petty revenge on the loud mouth unskilled players 🤣
Edit I loved capture the flag dropping the pot on the flag carrier was extremely satisfying as well as transforming your plane in bot form and stumping them to death 😱
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.
I must disagree with the 3, at least.
List of 10, on 10 pages.
SCREW THAT!
I liked punching the crap out of Liquid...
As for ME3...I would have loved to have faced Harbinger. Bioware denied us that opportunity. ¬_¬
Arkham Asylum - All the boss battles. Especially the lizard guy should have been epic but they all stunk.
Borderlands - The Destroyer fight itself was OK I guess, but the loot you get from it and the visuals for the vault were so underwhelming that it made the fight seem crappier than it actually was. It also made the entire search for the vault kind of overrated. Though I guess the current game is doing some good recon to make it not seem as worthless (I will be able to say for sure when I get to the end of two).
ME2 - The human reaper fight stunk but the entire last mission was awesome.
ME3 - recon that actually breaks the series...just horrible... but not really a "boss battle" since you pretty much do with the boss tells you. And the last mission leading up to it wasnt even good like ME2 either.
Fable2 - SPOILER you kill my dog and I dont get to kick your arse? And the dog doesnt even get to be in the Statue at the end. The statue should be me and my dog. Scrw that I am letting everyone else die.
AC2- I honestly dont even remember this fight so I guess it wasnt horrible but certainly wasnt good.
How is the Starchild a boss in any way? Yeah, he's pretty lame, but he doesn't belong on this list.
