This is GamerFitNation's Antwand "BlackBible" Pearman Pulse Wireless Stereo Headset Review. A Head set that shows gaming has style. Available this fall for $149.99 (MSRP), this headset is an incredible value, giving you a great sound experience for gaming at home on PS3, or on the go using your PS Vita or mobile device.
An update in early January will make the Sony Pulse headset compatible with the PlayStation 4.
What about the earlier USB sony headphones?
Ok read the article now which states it should work???? doesn't sound that confident when put like that though
Wait!? The Sony Headsets don't work with the PS4?? Wow, who run these companies?? That is ridiculously obvious that should've been day one.
This update plus a YouTube app and the dualshock charging station and my setup will be complete!
Whether you're looking to hear those sneaking footsteps or simply need to keep your gaming quiet, gaming headsets can be extremely divisive. Some are really good, others are terrible. Here are some of the best headsets to enhance your PS3 gaming experience.
Meh i've always felt that turtle beach are the Monster Beats of gaming headsets , overall . They are decent enough , but not nearly worth their price tags (that is for the high end ones before the upcoming xb1 one) .
And it's a worthless article by someone who got no clue anyway . The Pulse elite is nice (unless you got those mentioned above cracking issues , never had so far) but it's not bluetooth . It's a wireless dongle that can also be used with other devices .
Also it does have something special and fancy unlike claimed by the article . Its virtual surround and bass effects are pretty good compared to the competition . IF you care for virtual surround of course to begin with . But at least it's not a jarring and weird simulated effect .
Finally you can always get the Pulse Elite in good deals if careful enough . It's always discounted heavily around black friday , and back when it launched Sony had almost a 50% discount on it for a long while . Just avoid idiotic stuff like the GTA V version , uber expensive with barely a GTA themed design and nothing new
the downside for the official ps3 headsets is if u lose the ubd dongle sony does not sell replacements, and u have to basically buy a new headset, thats why when i could not find my usb dongle i decided to buy TB px5 but they had so much interferancem ended with the astros A50 and love them worth the price
Pulse Elite was the Most uncomfortable headset I ever wore. Discomfort equals distraction and therefore a less fun gaming experience. Binned mine.
The Pulse Elite Edition Headset is Sony’s flagship gaming headset. This is Sony’s 2nd gaming headset, the first being aptly named the Sony Pulse Headset.
I'm absolutely loving the Pulse Headset, especially the customisable options. I hope they optimize it further for the PS4.
I was reluctant to pick em up but I'm glad I did, and since they work with the ps4. ..its a win win.
eff ya! The $150 price tag is great for what u get.. I love em & feel it was a great investment.. Works great on vita & my phone too..
Only thing that sucks is that it didnt come with a charger so i need to plug it into my PS3 w the same cable as the dual shock.. Also the button placement takes some getting used to but the sound is amazing..
3.5 hrs to charge it completely from zero, easy plug & use set up, crystal clear sound & communication, & the pulse vibration really sucks u into the game... They dont make your ears hot & feel great for long periods of time.
If u want a great set of headphones for gaming, for your phone, for your computer or laptop, BUY these mo fos.. you WONT be disappointed
Black, I noticed that these are "stereo" headsets, not "surround" sound headsets. I'm looking for a replacement for my surround Tritton Ax Pros, which are great, but I'm tired of all the wires. The vibration has me excited, but hows the actual surround sound?
So it is already out in the States, I understand? I believe the Pulse is not due until November in Europe, if I am not mistaken. I will certainly pick it up.
I'll definitely be geting these. I've always wanted the old set to work on my tv. Now I can use the 3.5 jack on the dongle via powered usb.
That functionally alone is very attractive, not to mention all the other bells & whistles packed in. Simply put, the simple 3.5 jack intergration has won me over.
