GotGame: With the drop of the new model of PS3, lighter, smaller, but with all the features of the big bad model some people are curious as to why there is a new model when it seems that the next console cycle is starting with the drop of the Wii U this year.
CGM Writes: While we were over at PAX East, we were able to sit down with Goichi Suda (Suda51) and talk about the upcoming remaster of Shadows of the Damned
Ibrahim from eXputer: "The Medal of Honor franchise was once the crown jewel of FPS war games, later defeated by the tides of time and poor development."
They tried to turn it into Call of Duty and it killed it off. They should reboot it and go back to it's roots. But they'd ruin it with online-only/multiplayer style bullshit so why bother? I have very fond memories of these games, but this series can stay dead as far as I'm concerned.
Was literally just thinking of this game the other week with the secret nut cracker mission and the shooting Bismarck dog lmao. Loved these games as a kid
I have fond memories of playing the Medal of Honor Breakthrough MP Demo. It had two maps and custom servers. Living on campus, I had it downloaded on one of the PC Lab servers so I could access it on any computer at the university. Joined a clan and made friends that I still keep in touch with today.
"Deep Silver, Dambuster Studios, and PLAION are today very happy and excited to announce that they have just released the second expansion (“SoLA”) for "Dead Island 2" (the said expansion is availableright now for PC and consoles via digital stores)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
wow 2-3 years until a ps4 launch , Sony could of at least added more features in the new model lets say more memory and WiFi n dual band
"We’re not going to ask the consumers to suddenly buy another PlayStation console in five years time, and basically have their investment go by the wayside...I think at $599 we’re offering a very good value to the consumers" What about the consumer's including myself who's investment have gone wayside due to the YLOD. Where a majority of the people go out and buy a new one anyways, instead of sending it into Sony, considering there's not much of a price difference between sending it in or buying a new one.
Sony:
"it means we're hemorrhaging money and we're trying to protect ourselves from further damage."
-Good Luck Sony
Sony, could start developing games for PS3 through GaiKai, while other Next Gen consoles are releasing, aswell as having access to PC games. I wonder if that's the direction they are going... I don't know how much people would buy into such a system, but launching it this year would of been a good pre-emptive strike.
The next generation starts, when "Sony Says".
