More Borderlands 2 Shift Keys From Gearbox Themselves; 5 Gold Keys Per Code

Gearbox seems to currently be in the process of testing out the new Shift system that is implemented within Borderlands 2, and they are now providing the fans with some codes to do so. These codes will give you access to Golden Keys per code you happen to successfully enter. As usual, see our Shift post to understand how to redeem these codes.

Already redeemed! C'mon Gearbox....really?

That article is from yesterday. There are currently some working codes posted on Randy Pitchford's Twitter that are good for one key per account that will work until "shortly after 6PM" Central time.

Thank you!!! Bubble up for being helpful and you couldn't have told me that in a better amount of time...FINALLY redeemed one of these codes and got a key.

Awesome!

No problem. Keep an eye on Randy's Twitter and Gearbox's Facebook page. They seem to be planning some sort of large code giveaway coming up soon.

Hopefully they do this later on in the release for people that can't buy it day one.

I recall hearing they were going to sell them in store, but I don't think it really matters. The items in the chests aren't much if any better than anything you can find normally. The sad truth is, by the time you would logically use them (since they scale, level 45+), you should be thinking about finding better legendary loot. Finally don't forget that you get one for signing up for Shift, which I don't see them discontinuing. I think that will always be there for people to get at least 1 key.

Why would you submit this? These are from yesterday and Pitchford said the PC keys were gone "instantly", with the 360 and PS3 keys following right behind them. I managed to redeem on PC, but none of my friends were quick enough.

A better article would be about how they're going to be doing key giveaways all weekend.

One thing that sucks about N4G, is that you can't always control how fast something gets approved. This article was submitted yesterday and was approved hours later. The same thing happened with my Kirby Club Nintendo post. I had that on N4G around 3 hours before it sold out and it wasn't approved till they had been sold out for 10 or so hours.

The Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from the Gran Turismo series

Nissan Skyline from Need for Speed Underground

Motorcycle Steamroller from Dead Rising 3

And finally a car you never drive but saves your ass over and over : Honey Badger from COD MW2

I was thinking of Mad Max. That V8 felt really good to drive around in, especially with upgrades.

No one liked the Batmobile in Arkham Knight. Top 10?

toxic-inferno465d ago

I don't know... It was a strange addition to the game, and the parts of the game where you had to fight in it were tedious. But driving it around Gotham felt brilliant.
