Only time will tell if Bravely Default will become the next "Epic" JRPG from Square. But one this is for sure, and thats the fact that is is until proven otherwise a Nintendo 3DS entertainment system exclusive. That way Square can harness and take full advantage of innards of this next generation handheld gaming device. Pouring their very all into this title, giving it its greatest chance of quality and success.

I am one to normally complain about the lack of traditional, and above average JRPG titles. This generation I have only been blessed with Lost Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles, and The Last Story. Most others were probably good but not of my old school tastes. This Nintendo 3DS entertainment system exclusive offering will definitely be on my radar. The waiting game begins.

It is a fun RPG to spend 40 to 60 hours playing. But, what if [a player has] already finished the game? What if [they] are ready to follow some new stories?

You aren't finishing this game in 40-60hrs... maybe one or two of the eight character's individual stories.

No where. Traveler has now set a bar that the current Switch library will struggle to reach. High hopes for Fire Emblem and Meteoid both being able to match or surpass it.
