According to this week's Famitsu, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is heading to the PlayStation 3.
While yesterday Nihon Falcom announced the latest The Legend of Heroes title for Japan, during their investor Q&A it was revealed that the company plans to re-release The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky for modern platforms - though they don't quite know what form such a re-release might take.
If they released a physical collection of the original Trails of Sky, I would get it in a heartbeat.
Steam's annual Summer Sale is here again, and here's a couple of great deals for fans of Japanese games who aren't sure what to get!
The Games Cabin writes:
"I’m a big JRPG fan, so it was a matter of time before I learned of Trails of Cold Steel and Trails in the Sky. A few days ago I finally completed Trails in the Sky Series and I’m glad to announce it got me super excited to continue through Cold Steel.
As the title suggests, this review will only cover Trails in the Sky, which is only the first 3 games of a 9 game franchise, with another game coming out 2023."
I will rebuy the game.
Oh sweet! I really need to play this, I bought it months ago and never got very far. :\
This is great news this game looked amazing, definitely will check this one out
Sweet.
Though I wish someone would take a titles like this and give it the effort it deserves on a system like the PS3. A fully traversal world map with cities that are SD on said map, but highly detailed and interactive when you go into them.
I mean that this is really great, but being exactly what it is, coming when and in the form it is, its just another sign of how badly then HD console gen was handled. That it could have been so much more if it hadn't been rushed into.
Sony has been going berserk with the JRPGs this year.. Once they start flowing in, itl finally be like it once was with PS1 & PS2.. These games are exactly what it was missing this gen.. A few here n there released but nowhere near as many as now..
