Ubisoft – brands and a level of trust are “important” when creating F2P titles

Ubisoft’s worldwide director of online games, Stephanie Perotti, believes there is still a stigma attached to games which are free-to-play, and Ubisoft hopes to change the public’s perception with quality offerings.

I call bs on that. LoL was a new brand from a relatively new company and its wiping the floor with every large brand free to play game there is.

All it takes to be king is a good game and the will power to make it right. Where wrong is catering to publishers and whiny people that just don't like that gameplay style.

Ubi Soft is not the company to be talking about "levels of trust"! When it comes to their giving customers quality products, both Rainbow Six Vegas games are still riddled with a lot of unfixed bugs and Ghost Recon Future Soldier is a mess and virtually unplayable for the majority of gamers that purchased the game.

Ubi Soft are milking the cow dry on the Assassin's Creed franchise, soon it will be as mundane as Call of Duty. They have a new IP that looks interesting, however I'm wondering how they are going to mess this one up.

I agree, Never buying another Ubi game after what they did to IL2 Cliffs Of Dover.

Most of their new games are crap anyway, they seem to take a once great franchise and change it beyond recognition....... then moan when no one buys it!

I haven't purchased a Ubi game since that mess of a game R6 Vegas 2. I bought it on release day and couldn't play online with my friends for about 6 weeks after... and to this day there's still graphic glitches and machine gun repeating sound glitches.

From the quality I see in their recent games, I don't think I'll ever buy another Ubi game again!

Im going to go out on a limb and say that people hate all large game companies.

For the most part you are right, however there is one game developer that I respect a lot and they consistently deliver very high quality games, every game they release. That dev is Naughty Dog and I will always happily purchase their games as long as they maintain their high standard of quality!

I just hope that Sony allows them to develop for the PC because I'm skipping the next-gen of consoles and going back to PC gaming. Gaming on the PC is so much more economical and has a lot less limitations as the software programming side evolves.

Ubisoft's Recent Antics Have Me Fearful For The Sands of Time Remake

Hanzala from eXputer: "With Ubisoft's practices becoming increasingly anti-consumer lately, the destruction of The Sands of Time Remake looks almost inevitable."

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

*Ubi takes gun, aims at foot, empties clip*

At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.

Every industry has these issues

Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
