It seems that Markus "Notch" Persson has either cancelled his far-flung futuristic space strategy game 0x10c - or thinks it's the most gangstah game ever.
The developer tweeted, "It was all good just a week ago, game devs feel themselves, then 0x10c dropped, game devs kill themselves" adding the hashtag "#gangstadev".
He then added a few minutes later cryptically, "No, it hasn't dropped yet, but neither had watch the throne when they recorded that line. Confidence! =D"
Notch had posted two weeks ago that he might have to start over on 0x10c because it was "not fun".
Unigamesity writes: "Today we continue our series of amazing games to be released in 2013 that you never heard about with a very popular genre nowadays: shooters and in this case, FPS titles. There are quite a few big name titles coming in 2013 that we have already talked about, but there are also a lot of promising and rather no-name games coming this year that you might have never heard about"
I think at this point, it will have to be pretty promising with all the FPS games that have flooded the market.
My thoughts exactly, last gen was majority 3rd person but hugely varied, this gen has been an abundance of samey FPS games with a few standouts like Dishonoured and BioShock.
I'd also need to see some pretty mind blowing stuff at this point (AKA BioShock Infinite grade potential) to get excited about another FPS title.
Hopefully this FPS craze will fade away next gen.
With the exception of 'You Sir, Are being hunted" (which doesn't look particularly interesting IMO) and "0x10c" the other three games look like pretty standard fair shooters. Not terribly impressed by them.

Lol that's why I like the dude... If something in the game isn't fun, he just starts over.
I've never been a fan of Notch.
