Josh Fernandes: As I wait for Borderlands 2 to be shipped to me from Gamefly, I decided to read some reviews. That's when I came across this review by Adam Najberg over at the Wall Street Journal. It is one of the laziest and ignorant reviews I have ever read. Let's dive in!
While gamers usually take notice of the mainline missions, these 5 side quests deserve more widespread attention for how entertaining they are.
GF365: "Whether it be style, speed or firepower, these rides are sure to satisfy. Here are our picks for the ten best vehicles in video games."
The Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from the Gran Turismo series
Nissan Skyline from Need for Speed Underground
Motorcycle Steamroller from Dead Rising 3
And finally a car you never drive but saves your ass over and over : Honey Badger from COD MW2
I was thinking of Mad Max. That V8 felt really good to drive around in, especially with upgrades.
GF365: "Sometimes a funny and less stressful game is a welcome change. Here are the best comedic video games that will surely improve your mood."
Hands down... one of the worst reviews of all time
Really? That review is seriously just awful
I think what he means is that there'll be stiff competition, I tend to go with the general rule that you don't insult anyone else's writing, unless you really need to and grabbing hits isn't really on the important list.
HOWEVER.
^That bit is important - the guy who you're quoting is clearly an idiot. And my brain tingled with a painful sensation when I read his quotes.
The whole review is the worst load of nonsense I have ever read.
It's obvious to me that neither this guy nor his editor were qualified to write a professional game review.
The sad part is that he was probably paid a very tidy sum for that awful work, which demonstrated excellent use of Wikipedia combined with the intellectual ability of a third grader.
