Fable: The Journey Demo has now been released on Xbox Live. I share my thoughts and expectations on this game.
The Xbox 360 was a fantastic console in its day with some truly classic titles, but what are the seven best games for the console?
I'll go with,
Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Culdcept Saga, Shadow Complex, Ace Combat 6 with the flight stick,A Kingdom for Keflings, A World of Keflings.
Bonus Kinect Games: Happy Action Theater and Sesame Street.
*Skyrim was so bad on PS3 that it almost deserves to be #1*
Was this made by a.i.? No human being would put Shadowrun, Fable III, and Splinter Cell: Conviction into a list of the 7 best Xbox 360 games.
Would love to play Ace Combat6 on PlayStation, but Xbox decided to buy exclusivity and keep it off a competing platform.
The only mainline game I never played except for one level at a friends place. Game sold less than any other in the series if I remember correctly.
When the current gen XBOX offering is so lacking people need to refer to games released two generations back....
Baldur's Gate 3 producer Ryan Clark, who worked at Larian Studios for four years, has joined Fable developer Playground Games
Xbox is definitely the house of RPGs and it´s getting bigger and better by the day!
Fable will be fantastic!
Still waiting to see what kind of game fable will be. Hope it has gargoyles...probably not.
Hope you can pick between male or female and choose something else to distinguish yourself during character creation.
Super excited for this and perfect dark...excited to see what they make that is. Don't have any high hopes but maybe MS can prove me wrong. Playground has been their studio for a long time and the initiative is their only new studio
This is a good get as Baldur's Gate 3 is highly regarded.
But this has to be a hire for their next game right? Why would Fable need a producer now?
Can't wait to see what their '10 year plan' is for Fable.....just like Halo and now Forza. I'm curious to see just how badly they fuck this up with online focused, drip fed content, design and gameplay. Because I know it's going to be nothing like the previous games and anyone expecting that is in for a nasty surprise.
Fable II launched back in 2008 and remains the best the series has offered. Ahead of the series comeback, it's time to look at the classic.
Loved this game, oh and i always saved my dog at the end, hope the new Fable has a animal companion.
Fable 2 was the best inthe series. Peter waaaaaaay over promised with fable 1 and it was good but disappointing. He didn't go crazy eith hype for the second game and it was surprisingly awesome. Then he ran his mouth promoting 3 and it was the worst of the 3.
I only got to play it once 😩 I'm so tempted to buy a Xbox 360 slim but planning on getting the series x soon since I got a PS5 in February Im ready to get saints row 1&2 back, GTA 4, fable 2, but I also want to play infamous 1&2 again Sony screwed us over with the stream only for saints row 2 and other gems smh
They've ruined the entire franchise for me now, no going back either.
the demo was ok takes some getting used to with the aftertouch move because i keep forgetting i have to leave me arm out after launching my move to use that ability. The aiming without it wasent that bad and i like there idea of mixing moves when i launched an enemy into the air and shot him with a fireball. I could of seen the sword being implemented into the game with a simple slash motion after a unsheathin gesture. guns could have been added also IMO but if you think about the overall character design he dosent look like a guns or swords guy. The graphics were pretty good and they emphasized how to play more with there vid then steel bettallion did which will help out players more. sadly ive already seen a video saying the demo sucks but 99% of the time thats just the classic youtube kinect troll. I hope it does well.
The demo sold me 100%. I knew this wasn't going to be a Fable game in the same sense that Halo Wars wasn't a Halo game. Its a stand alone title and has its own lure in the universe, I totally understand and appreciate that more then one thing can be going on in a town at around the same time period.
The demo was fun, I played it two or three times. I was surprised how accurate the aiming was, if you aim into the dirt, your shot goes into the dirt, if you aim too far to the left, your shot goes off to the left.
I'm also glad they decided to use Unreal Engine, the graphics were tight, no glitches and most importantly the demo was fun and worked properly.
I'm sure it'll get a ton of hate around here, you'll see the same trolls over and over again, those insecure types that aren't happy unless everyone else is as unhappy as they are.
I'll keep on playing whatever games I want, leave the idiocy to those its better suited for....and by the way, this game is a true day one.
