PlayStation Store Preview – September 11, 2012

Another week, another solid update. Except things are still bare in the land of the PS Vita. But you should know that things are going to pick up really soon for Sony’s handheld – and to showcase just that, we’ve done a massive update of our Coming Soon section, highlighting all of the upcoming PlayStation Vita titles and their release dates. It's got a handful of games coming. Maybe 3 or 4 retail games between now and 2013 of decent quality.

Which would be bad in its own right... but it's downright abysmal next to Sony's zero support of the Vita on PSN.

It's like they're deliberately trying to make the Vita crash and burn.

Yes, all dlc, plus a couple of extra items like a digital strategy guide, a exclusive knife some, dogtags, and maYbe something else I'm forgetting.
Ohh yeah early access to dlc.

Still... no... Okami.... It's getting painful to always see it on the 'coming soon' list. Argh. Soon, Okami. Soon.

Anomaly looks fun though, might give that demo a try.

I hope Okami gets realeased free for Plus. I always wanted to play tht game but never wanted to buy it lol.

That's a terrible shame, really. It's a beautiful game, at the time it was extremely unique in its "draw it and create it" type gameplay. Mind you, this was before things like Wii or Move existed. Very under-appreciated and ignored by gamers as a whole. Yet games like Flow and Flower and Journey are big sellers. So maybe it was just before its time, as it were.

Making it a free Plus title would be brilliant move for it though, it will make it more known and get more players, gamers who otherwise might overlook the game again. Hopefully it will be free to Plus, it deserves that attention.

Scott Pilgrim is a side-scrolling beat-em-up game and i can't say anything about DD because I've never even heard of it. I know I'll pick it up though since I loved DD when I was young.

My Vita is full. Wtf guys what u do beat them all already?? Games beaten Uncharted 2 times, Shinobido, Disgea, Unit 13, and MGS2, and soon MGS3. Still haven't played/beaten Ninja gaiden, Resistance, Mortal Kombat, and Hot shots golf. Soon **** load come out. LBP, COD, AC3, Persona, Ragnarok Odyssey, and Psasbr.

Its not hard to have already beaten all those games. The Resistance plat takes maybe a few hours at most. Disgaea 3 is the only lengthy one, and then Mortal Kombat has length if you are going for trophies. Other than that though, the others can be handled rather fast.

That doesn't mean they are not good games, just that people may have already played through them all.

If I hadn't gotten gravity rush (which is amazing) recently I would have been complaining about the lack of support too. Oh well, it should last me long enough until AC3 Vita, PAS, LBP and COD. We don't have it that bad tbh, could be worse.
