Gamers can’t go through their gaming lives without hearing about the game Final Fantasy VII, and fans of the Final Fantasy series can’t live without it. Some fans go to great lengths to show their love for the seventh title, such as cosplaying and artistic renditions. Some, one in particular, seek to recreate the entire experience once confined within that outdated PlayStation 1 four-disc set.
Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.

Rise of the ronin sold twice as much as Dragons Dogma 2 this week...but no articles about that. It's only news if a PS exclusive is being outsold.
I've always wanted to play through Final Fantasy VII, but the old mechanics and gameplay were a thing I never experienced at a young age, so I didn't form an empathy for it like it did with the original Metal Gear Solid. Hopefully, coupling this with the recently updated PS Vita patch, I can finally play through Final Fantasy VII.
"...once confined within that outdated PlayStation 1 four-disc set."
Was it four discs in other regions? In North America it was 3 discs.
Overall it's one of the best games if ever played. Though I'm not saying its not a legendary title not worthy of praise I will say I also haven't played every game ever made especially. Of every new game this gen n I'm sure there are probably a good hand full of games this gen and last much better then it n without playing Any of those games it's still only top ten on my all time list. It's a great but it's a joke to call it the greatest game ever today. Plenty of games last gen are better for example re4. Overall it's strengths are story(tho slightly convoluted) atmosphere, n great gameplay. Also Vincent and cloud are very likable characters. It's weaknesses. Are tedious grinding, Sephiroth(yes I've played the game a million times n I can tell u he's the most overrated character n video game history. U don't see em half the game n he's not even likable. He only appeals to 8 year olds n only people with terrible taste think one winged angel is even remotely enjoyable. Like seriously how do u sit n listen to that?) it's graphics, n a sumwhat weak ending. Overall a wonderful game tho. The part of the game where u leave midgar n cloud has the flashback is a video game moment that's among my favorites n I was blown away that they could achieve such a thing in 1997. Also I praise the two bonus bosses ruby n emerald for being possibly the hardest bosses if ever beaten n a video game. Overrated yes. Iv played 5 n thought it was much better despite being underrated. But still a great game.
Super awesome stuff!
This looks totally sick. Kudos to the creator - I can't WAIT to try these out.
