Hideo Kojima's Huge Influence on Cliffy B

Here at DualShock Nexus, we got an opportunity to check out the Konami party the same day as the Metal Gear Solid Panel and we all made a toast to the legend himself. Gears Of War's Cliff Bleszinski also made an appearance and had a few things to say to the legendary Hideo Kojima as well. We have that information and more from the Konami party.

On topic, Kojima is an incredible talent, and I also really enjoy Gears... it's my favorite XBOX exclusive (don't bring up the "but it's on PC too" BS... the series is associated with MS, so you know what I mean).

I personally can't decipher what the hell anyone is saying in the video with the horrible audio quality... all you can hear is the crackle of the speakers when the crowd yells, and barely anything when someone speaks in the mic. He really isn't that bad I've met him in person considering i live 20 mins away from epic studios and work at the gamestop he visits. He's wife is really nice too i got to meet her when they were just engaged.

I respect that CliffyB admires Kojima!!! I just wish the games he made had a more serious tone than roided up space marines. Its not even his fault its the people at Epic Games who write the stories scripts for the games. CliffyB is a great game designer that I believe is getting held back by Epic to make the same linear action shooter. Im not hating on the games hes made because gears is a very good game series but I feel he has the ability to make games that are critically acclaimed highly and that are defining for its generation. Just give this man freedom to use his unique and original ideas to make a game
