Kuma’s Thought: Ignorance is Not Bliss, Just Makes You A Jacka**

Kuma Wrote: There is something to be said about people that get up in the morning, thinking about what game they want to play and decided to be the biggest a**hole in the face of all internet gaming. I mean some of us have egos and many of us know when to turn it off to just walk away and say “Good Game”. Honestly I am that type of gamer that will talk a bit of smack when given, but give props to the other team if I win or lose no matter I had fun and that is the whole point that many forget. The main question that some of us are left with is, “Why?” I mean are they picked on by someone in the real world and get online to pretend like they are the center of the universe? If so there are many single player games out there that can offer that feeling of getting everyone’s attention to come after you. I want to be clear on this post without the confusion to some thinking I am attacking those few that want to belittle or bully others online with racist or sexist comments. I am here to try and save those few from others that might take it a bit further. I mean people in this world are crazy and willing to track you down, read about it all the time and you might piss off the wrong person.

The main culprit for online douchery is anonymity. You have the comfort of knowing you are separated by connection, and the freedom that offers to some people is just too intoxicating to resist. This I would have to call 'internet rage' because just like road rage, those people feel protected in their little metallic bubbles and convince themselves that 'if it hadn't been for the traffic, I'd have jumped out of my car and...' They live in this comforting fantasy because largely speaking they have no control over reality.

You can tell which are weaker than others by the speed they move from patronage to personal attacks. They don't realise that they have just lost when they do that, they feel empowered... they feel like that guy they secretly admired at school that could defend himself. They feel the pain of being bullied but can't resist the temptation to bully themselves. These are the dregs, the low lives, the people I have no respect for at all. If cowardice is the only thing that prevents you becoming a bully then you deserve to be bullied. It should be a matter of principle.

is that why theres so many trash talkers online when playing games? i know they feel secure being anonymous but sometimes i just dont understand why they try to act like bad a$$e$ when u cant look em in the eye while they say it.. No point

@Gribber and @Kuma

Thank you both because I have been trying to inform gamers for 2 years now but I think I've finally come to the conclusion that they would rather be ignorant sheep than actually know what they talk about.

This was why I created a site to help inform those who want to actually know the truth about games.

Cant change the world, only yourself.

rezzah4246d ago

Gandhi changed himself, and through his actions caused others to want to change themselves.

SavageKuma4247d ago

I just want to show a more lighter side to gamers instead of these tools that keep giving us a bad name.

If you have to answer for your actions then most people wouldn't talk crap online.

Much less crap was talked, or it was at a more reserved level when somebody was in the room with you, because if you made them made enough they were right there to literally smash/punch you.

If every stupid kid/person who talked crap or purposely killed his own team, had to get punched in the face one time for every time they did it, NOBODY would talk crap.

But violence is never the way. So there must be another way to educate these ignorant problem causers.

Call of Duty Players Disappointed by $80 B.E.A.S.T. Glove Bundle Deal

Recently, players of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone were met with a new bundle featuring the B.E.A.S.T. Glove, inspired by King Kong's armament in the Godzilla x Kong movie. However, the $80 price tag attached to this themed accessory left many Call of Duty fans feeling underwhelmed.

Morons that allow themselves to be milked continuously by this company is the definition of irony.
Spend more $$ and you'll end up In easier lobbies so you win both ways when ya spend that cash

Controversy in the COD community feels like it happens within an alternate timeline. Activision will take the piss with something, there will be a momentary fuss about it, and then they will forget about it and carry on anyway. Repeat this cycle literally every year for the rest of time.

They call that a crack head! Thats what this is really about, its an addiction. People who dont smoke cigarettes look and laugh at the addicts that spend $8-$10 a pack, but they cant help themselves, they are addicted. That same analogy applies perfectly to the whole MT industry. Only an addict that was not thinking clearly would spend this kind of money on something so frivolous. A round of multiplayer provides the same high a person gets from scratching a lotto ticket, or putting money on a sports bet. MT in general need to really be regulated because you have a generation of kids becoming adults who grew up only knowing the MT era of gaming. Its normal to them and they will in turn teach their kids the same by just being a gaming parent and getting their kids involved with them in gaming. Thats why no matter how ridiculous the headlines keep getting out of the MT industry, it never seems to fade or go away.

I'm so tired of hearing about what they're doing with this game, its never going to change and it's never going to value the consumer over money, furthermore the people who engage so heavily in the microtransactions I guess allegedly are having a blast and can't wait to do it some more this year when the new version of the game drops.

Cheech And Chong Are Coming To Call Of Duty Because Everything Must Be Consumed

The famous comedy duo is the latest example of pop culture becoming one big grey blob

Christopher22d ago

Certain to have some sort of reference to their online store for CBD/THC chews, which is advertising heavily online the last month or two.

Sciurus_vulgaris22d ago

The randomness of the multiplayer characters is one of reason I quit playing COD after briefly returning in 2022. We got Space Marines, rappers, tree monsters etc. all in a series called “ Modern Warfare”.

OtterX22d ago (Edited 22d ago )

I think if there was ever a time for a competitor to rise up and take away some of Call of Duty's thunder, the time would be now. A military shooter that takes itself seriously, not sold out to Fortnitism. Easier said than done, I know... but the time is ripe.

I can't stand this stuff either.

Palitera22d ago

There are tons of MP shooters that make no profit, if you're looking for one of those

fsfsxii22d ago

You guys have been saying this shit since 2009. Fortunately, nobody’s bringing down cod anytime soon, if ever.

crazyCoconuts22d ago

I agree. I really didn't like how the silliness takes away the gritty origins. That and all the crazy effects... dunno. I'm still playing it but I'd love for someone to steal their cheese and cater to grittier players

OtterX22d ago

@fsfsxii It's not so much wanting COD itself to die as it is wanting this silliness to die. Like CrazyCoconuts said, it takes from the grittiness. Many OG COD players want a straightup Military shooter experience, not silly costume time at Carnival.

Knightofelemia22d ago (Edited 22d ago )

Profchaos22d ago

Why just why. cod up in smoke

anast22d ago

MW3 missed its easiest opportunity to give us some of the best Call of Duty maps ever made

From Bootleg to Black Box, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 made a heartbreaking mistake by not remastering the bizarrely forgotten maps from its namesake.
