The Wii U Questions Nintendo Needs To Answer On September 13th

Nintendo has recently scheduled a press event on September 13th where they are believed to be unveiling all the details regarding the Wii U launch.

I would love this... But Nintendo doesn't like announcing specs. it'd be a great way to shut up naysayers. Also they need to show more third party games and more "next-gen" games... that are first party or third party exclusive

The question about Wii U games requiring Motion Plus is a really good one. I hadn't thought about that before.

All Wii remotes now come with Motion plus built in so its only an issue if your Wii remotes are more than 2 or 3 years old or something like that. I'm not sure when they made the change honestly.

Still it is a good question because there are 50 million Wii owners who dont have it built in and might not own the add on at all.

I am interested in the first party games like the "3D Mario" game they are supposively working on and Smash Bros Wii U which supposively has a 2013 release date, and whatever else they have that they havnt shown

Any game really that shows this is a "next gen" system. An HD 2d mario and pikmin just doesn't cut it. I get the whole launch title thing. But maybe just a glimpse of something impressive would be great.

- We already know it's launching in November, at least for the U.S. My specific date I'm predicting is the 18.

- I think it's safe to assume that it'll be launching at $300-$350. No more, no less.

- Don't expect them to release the specs. They didn't even do it with the GameCube which was a pretty powerful system.

- All I want to know is console features what the OS looks like, and the Nintendo Network. Cross game chat? What does the friends list look like? etc.

I hope they update the mii's. Probably 2nd thing I care most about behind price. They look painfully simple and there has never been a big update from them it seems. If the miis r still the same then i guess the whole miiverse thing will lose alot of its interest 2 me.
