ChaosHour Writes: Go back almost one year and you will find yourself in the month of September 2011, when Dead Island surprised the world with its spectacular release. As myself witnessed, working in a retail establishment, the shelves were dominated by Dead Island POS however just mere hours after we opened the store sold out. We sold roughly 60 copies in the first 3 hours of being open, only then to disappoint customers that we wouldn't get any more stock until the following week. After that point Dead Island stock was replenished only for the same thing to happen over and over. We kept a diary of customers contact numbers who requested us to hold back a copy of the game and even though they could wait for the winter sales they wanted the game there and then.
