Ys - Why XSEED May Be the Bravest Publisher in America and How You Can Help Them

XSEED hasn’t officially announced anything about localizing this title for a US audience, but if we all hope hard enough, clap loud enough and maybe tweet at them without being annoying, it could happen. In the last two years we’ve gotten FIVE Ys games from these guys, three of which we’d probably never have seen. We’re catching up to having the entire series available in English and finally getting it the recognition it deserves. Please do yourself and the industry that so desperately needs new, different games a favor and support XSEED’s project. Dust off your PSP and pick up physical copies or from PSN and Steam. Let them know how much you enjoy these games and how badly you’d like to see Ys IV come to the states. And if you go for the PSP versions, hunt down the Premium Editions. XSEED put together a beautiful package for each game including soundtracks, a cloth map for Ys Seven and some gorgeous boxes to put on your shelf.

went through quite a bit of trouble to get those Limited Editions. I thought they looked really nice, especially if you put all of them next to each other.

I've enjoyed a lot of their games over the years that is for sure.

@darkfanboy, I know you will come trolling and I dont care. You are ignored and blocked for a reason and no matter how many alt accounts you have, you cant take my last bubble for something I have never done

I bought Ys Seven and The Oath of Felghana from PSN to play on my Vita. Fantastic games, both of them. It'd be a real shame if Ys IV didn't make it stateside. If I had a twitter account I'd be all over it.

I'm a huge fan and I have been supporting xseed as well as the ys series. I bought all three premium editions when they released here in the states. I purchased a vita for tree of celeceta and now I know what finally happened to it. I hope they still do release it for the vita.

Played YS 8 and 9.. 8 was much better. Looking for new YS games.

I hope 10 is more like 8 or previous games . 9 wasn’t bad and had some good elements but the zones were annoying to have to clear enough orbs for points to get to next zone . Unnecessary imo. Combat was fun and story was ok but it wasn’t as good as 8 7 6 etc . It’s still one of my favorite franchises . Just bought Ys Book 1&2 on DS . I have the Turbo Grafx 16 copy also .

I've been playing through it for the first time on the Switch. It's pretty good. It's scratched my action RPG itch a bit and it's a unique game for the series. I would love to see a 3rd person remake one day.

This is worst Ys game in my experience.

Didn't RF5 already release in Japan half-baked and full of framerate and loading issues? Did they fix anything?
