Dragon Age 3 - Possible Names, Character Art Leaked

Some new character art pieces have been leaked, showing off some possible character designs in Dragon Age III. In the gallery, you’ll also see what looks like a poll for possible Dragon Age III names.

I really doubt they can make it any worse than DA2, though I still enjoyed the game, it was severely lacking compared to the first one. I really do hope they can turn this series around, because I love the setting, characters and everything.

Heres hoping they return to the D&D style of gameplay for DA3 (atleast for the PC version).

They can keep the console version simular to DA2, if thats what console gamers prefer.

DA2 was a pretty big slap in the face for what people were expecting from the sequel to Origins... DA was supposed to be the spiritual successor to the Baldurs Gate games, DA2 took a complete U-turn from that idea :/

Anyways, why are they asking people what the title of the next game should be? Are they really that unsure of themselves? lol

Just so you know the voice actor for Alistair is also in Uncharted 2 and partially in U3 with the co op dlc. I would know b/c I own all of these games. He does a good job in U2 as well. I to hope that in DA3 all these characters return but alas getting the same voice overs will not be as easy I presume. Also captain jane way and tuvok from star trek voyager also voiced in DAO. Hmmm, I don't see why they need to attach something after Dragon Age 3 (word wise); why not leave it as just DA3?

I also wonder, will we be able to have origin style beginnings, or human only (as imposed in DA2)?

And lastly, for HEAVEN SAKES, I hope they do not rip out items/weapons/armors and offer us no way to get them afterwards (I'm still missing some stuff for DA Origins and DA2, what with all the pre-order/facebook shenanigans).

No way in hell ill be buying this game day 1. Da2 was such a lazy piece of garbage I couldn't believe it. How can da1 kick so much ass and then they shit out some halfassed sequel. It seriously felt like they finished half the game and said "fuck it, they won't know the difference". There not gettin my money anymore. Same goes for mass effect. Mass effect 2 sucked almost as bad so I didn't buy me3 and don't ever plan on it.

*facepalm* "Go back to CoD"? Really? I'd like to point out that, between ME1 and ME2, ME2 is the one that's closer to CoD. That's not saying much, but it is saying at least SOMETHING.

Also, I suspect foul play. I'm betting it's the same reason ACTUAL CoD games get these 9s every year. I mean, seriously, MW3 was a terrible game. There's no LEGITIMATE way it could've gotten the scores it got. Foul play was involved and, when it comes to big publishers, pretty much always is.

It's only character art, you have to wait until you actually see running characters. They will probably be using the DA2 animation style. I really hope they take the feedback that the community gave for DA2 when making DA3. Honestely like most people I was disappointed with DA2.

in my opinion, the original dragon age was fantastic, where as dragon age 2 was merely good, it seems to me that the game was half assed to meed a production deadline, what i think they need to do for a Dragon age 3, is to : a) bring back the race/class build system, the map travel system, and the equipment set up, being able to actually build your character will add to the games ability to keep the players attention, the random encounters on the map will make the travel time more interesting, and personally, i liked being able to give any character pretty much any equipment, providing they meet the requirements although limiting what a character can use is a good idea too; b) keep the environment style from D.A.2 and the combat setup

I liked DA1 and DA2. I disliked bits in DA1 and DA2 but if they took the time to find a balance it would be great.

I liked the enemies in DA1 were on the field and didn't appear in waves. I liked the close up character scenes in DA2.

Unlike ME3, DA2 had some redeeming elements in the story even if several parts were a bit iffy. Most gameplay elements were poorly excecuted as well, even if I liked some of the things they were going for. The devs only had less than a single year of development for the game so I can manage to give them benefit of the doubt for most of DA2's faults.

There's some hope here, but if Bioware screws this up I'm done with them.

I've been playing through the complete edition of Dragon Age Origins (with all DLC's) and I can't seem to grasp Bioware's logic with Dragon Age 2. Why dumb down and downright destroy an old-school RPG only to replace it with a rushed, half-game with most convoluted story in any Bioware game, ever?

I have no hopes for the sequel (if there is one even), especially if they are planning to continue with the Hawke storyline... why bother really.

DA2 was utter crap compared to DA Origins. It was just so damn lazy on the developer's part. If DA3 is "similar" to DA2, I definitely won't be buying it.

I'm one of the few people that liked DA2 but I do recognize its problems (repetitive dungeons, random battles ect). I'm looking forward to DA3 and since it seems like Bioware is actually taking their time with it, it SHOULD be good. We'll see.

I recall bioware saying the same thing about ME3, how it will be closer to the first game and bring back RPG elements, but then they dummed it down more from ME2 and took out all RPG elements. I have no fair Bioware will bring DA3 close to being what DAO was, especially since they have the casual and multiplayer craze going on, the story will lose focus since they want multiplayer now and the gameplay will be worse than DA2.

I could be wrong of course, only time will tell, but my money isn't on Bioware

ME3 had a lot more rpg elements than ME2.

The skills branched off more than they did in ME2 and the weapons and armor customization was greater than it was in ME2 as well.

ME3 wasn't as rpg heavy as ME1 but it was certainly more rpg than ME2.
