I actually still think this looks good, if a little bit too disturbingly violent. I wish you didn't have to cut up people, and they were like, fully robots or something. All that hyper-violent shit just makes me feel a bit queasy tbh. Also that song is utter crap.

Oh because Depeche Mode are so underground? I've never been a fan so I don't recognise the tune, but I don't like it, the lyrics are mega lame. Granted, it's probably made worse by how much it clashes with the trailer, but whatever.

They should have just got some composer like Gregson-Williams or Norihiko Hibino to contribute. Tired of these trailers with rubbish music, I don't know who they're trying to pander to. This isn't the worst example I'll admit, but so many trailers just get given shitty dubstep bullshit and dodgy songs like this that just spoil them.

Story doesn't matter anymore since it's no longer canon. It was canon when Kojima was making it between MGS2 & MGS4 but now it's by a different company and it takes place after MGS4 and isn't canon anymore (which is great because the game looks stupid enough as it is).

Platinum Games is creating the gameplay, graphics, levels, etc. and Kojima and his team are creating the story and dialogue. Also, Kojima is the top billed executive producer on this game, so you need to be better informed next time before you go and start trashing a game.

So this is what Raiden does for money after the events of MGS4. Being a Special Military Security guard seems logical. It's difficult to imagine him doing anything else with his cybernetic body and probably the only job he qualifies for. He does have a family to feed, not to mention a purpose to uphold with that body.

I'm still not sure about buying this game. I'll just wait and see.

From the interviews it seems like Kojima Pro and P* are truly cooperating to make a good game worthy of the name Metal Gear.

Yeah I wasn't expecting Raiden to get cut to bits again, thought he'd settle down a bit with Rose and his son. Now he's going on about how he was wrong for fighting to protect the weak or something. Jeez, they just don't give this guy a break.

I haven't lost faith in this game though, just wish it wasn't so insanely violent, that's the only thing about it that to me just isn't MGS.

Going to the movies, doing yard work, grocery shopping and picking up the kid from school. Some people with a military background get aggravated with mundane task when they know they are capable of doing more with their abilities. They don't feel that level of accomplishment anymore with everyday things. Raiden has practically been in the military all of his life. There might be a possibility his mind is going to find ANY reason to get him back on the battlefield.

This video is a good example of how Raiden may feel like while he's grocery shopping for his family after the events of MGS4.

and ruined it. You are now deemed as one of those players who care all too much for graphics. Graphics shouldn't even be in lists on what people look for in a game. As long as the graphics dont look disgusting, then fine. If they're like deadly premonitons, then sure, we got a problem.
