There’s been a lot of talk about the next generation of consoles. With an expected release of the major consoles within the next couple of years, I’ve got to say that we don’t really need a new console. This may seem to be the old debate between pc and consoles, but let’s take a closer look into why we don’t need a new console.
Neil writes: "After holding tight and saving every spare penny since the Xmas sales, chances are you've worked up enough of a sweat to ensure that it's time to look in to the purchase of a new Xbox game or two. And with the latest Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 28th Jan - 3rd Feb 2020, you'll be able to get access to all manner of cut-price Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles, boosting your digital library in the process."
"Vigil Games may not be around anymore but their 2 Darksiders games really raised the bar for 3D action adventure games. Let's take a look at both titles' gameplay and worlds and see which one emerges victorious." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
Darksiders 1 is a complete game but it’s obvious with Darksiders 2 they ran out of budget after the Ice world and the game just becomes a poorly paced mess.
The release date has been revealed for The Art of Darksiders II Hardcover Edition.
Seems like a Pro PC article to me.
You need to understand not everyone can afford a gaming rig, that's why we have consoles and the current consoles are at the end of there cycle so we need new ones.

Anyone who has seen Skyrim on an Xbox and then on a PC knows consoles are shit. And the games are only getting more demanding graphically. Console life cycles can not keep pace with technology life cycles. The PC can be upgraded at will, to keep pace with developers constantly evolving limits. The console is a static technology, limiting one to a specific time in history, for the most part. Consoles are effectively becoming useless, especially due to the consistency of Moore's Law.
I'm not tired of my ps3 yet....
Developers are calling for new consoles.
That should be the only reason that counts. Give consumers a better product? Why would anyone say no to that?
For the average console gamer, consoles = convenience. Plug headset into controller, sit on couch and have a good time with friends. The age is showing and a lot of people do want that option to upgrade graphically. If you don’t have the money for a new console, then keep playing the old one. If you don’t want consoles released because you are invested in PC-gaming and you want to maintain your current huge graphical edge, then you are immature. I don’t see why people are against giving fellow gamers the option to play on a more powerful machine?
