The premise of Malicious is simple. Beings with no real identity – but shall be referred to as Prophets – summon the playable character, known as the Spirit Vessel. You can be male or female and you have been summoned to fight against a great evil known as Malicious. To do this, you need to fight five holders of power to inherit their abilities which will help you defeat the great evil Malicious. There is a back-story on the bosses you fight, which is told in four written chapters. It will give great insight to what’s going on and humanize the bosses that you’ll fight. Of course, it’s preferable to see cut-scenes (especially since the artistic style is so well done), but since it’s a small game, it’s understandable that there aren’t any voice overs, which is perfectly sufficient.
One of the best digital releases on the PS3 was the original Malicious developed by Alvion. In the years since, the game was also ported to the Vita. The good news is that it is now coming to the PS4.
Great music in the firrst game too.
I should have invested the time to learn how to play it properly.

Loved this game. I was waiting for it to be released here ever since I saw the Japanese footage of it. I have a Vita now, so I hope that one comes here too.
Too bad there wasn't a Platinum though, it wasn't too challenging to me, but I think it would've been very hard for others
