"Even though Dark Souls is being ported to the superior on every technical level PC"

Yeah....While true, your wording makes you sound like a blind fanboy.

The author of this is wrong. It's a straight up 360 port with nothing changed or fixed.

"Even though Dark Souls is being ported to the superior on every technical level PC, it is still filled with the same issues as the original Dark Souls. There will still be lag on Blighttown and the game does not have any polish or upgrades to the graphics."

How can the author be wrong if he said exactly the same thing as you? It's good to actually read the articles before criticizing them.

Really hyped for this DLC. Too bad PC edition carries the same problems as the console versions. Wonder if can still do the souls exploit glitch on PC... interesting question indeed.

Swiggins4271d ago

You Can....but why would you want too?

Why rob yourself of half of the experience?

Aghashie4270d ago

you r right about that. I did cheat my soul level on my first character, but after a few hours just realised that I have destroyed my character by doing so. so, I start fresh all over w a new character. u know, just wonder. cause I know many pc gamers love to mod and tailor a game to its liking (I am not saying that doing so is wrong), just wonder that we may see a lot of level 999 characters on the pc version.

The fun of the game is learning from your mistakes and overcoming a challenge.

If you exploit it or hack it you're only cheating yourself out of the experience, but have fun either way. This game rocks.

I Wish More Games Embraced FromSoft's Approach To Difficulty

Danish from eXputer: "FromSoftware's unique approach to difficulty in their games allows players to customize their own experience, which is really cool."

"Souls Like" is a literal genre.

I'd just like to point out that Rise of the Ronin which recently released is in large part a Souls Like as is the upcoming Stellar Blade. And both games have 60 FPS.

More? Like every other game in the last
5 years has “Souls” elements or difficulty. I think we need to pump the brakes a bit Jesus they don’t all the the “grind or die”/“get good” mentality.

I would advise reading the article. What you're saying is not the point we tried to make.

Yeah let’s have only souls likes 🙄
