The free-to-play game and the RPG is a match made in heaven for many, both for players and developers alike. It’s a dreamlike formula, but not a perfect one, with many developers attempting to refine it with varying levels of success. Currently in closed beta, New Zealand-based Grinding Gear Games present their newest entrant into the RPG homogeny, Path of Exile.
Today, in about four hours, players of Grinding Gear Games’ Path of Exile will start exploring the game’s next content update, Trial of the Ancestors.
Today Grinding Gear Games is hosting its Exilecon event, and revealed news and gameplay for Path of Exile 2 and its predecessor.
So happy we have both diablo and PoE competing against eachother. D4 is a good game, but PoE2 has really stepped it up further. Gaming is awesome these days. 😊
I hope they make a good controller support for PC now that there are lots of handheld PC on the market. PoE 1 controller support is a pain in the arse to play with.
ExileCon 2023, an event that celebrates all things Path of Exile (PoE), will be held in Auckland, New Zealand from July 29th - 30th 2023.
I would completely stop playing Diablo 2 if they added a shapeshifter. It doesn't even have to be a Druid.
Ummm, the game is still in closed beta. How can it have a review? That aside, this game is amazing. I'd recommend everyone spend the $10 to support these developers :D
Yeah I think they are only like 40% complete on the intended content. Not that I disagree with the score. Played a bit in beta a couple weeks ago, and it's a pretty awesome game.
