It just seemed like they were adding things people didn't want

What started out as a "Half life HD makeover" has resulted in them trying to make it even better then how Valve made it...which would be impossible to do since Half life in my opinion is amazing.

They should focus on making it look pretty and new while getting rid of these new, out of place changes. No wonder it's been taking so long

Plus the whole COD thing they have going on with the weapons

Trying to add COD elements in Half life...<sigh> it just feels like they've lost focus on what they were originaly doing.

Wait, what was CoD about that footage? Iron Sights? Really, one fucking feature than so many games have; and people start calling it Cod. wow And the Revolver could zoom in in anyways. It makes more since this way than in the way it works in HL1.

I was talking about their complaints with the game...didn't say i thought it

"The zoom on the .357 magnum (that looks like an ironsight functionality, which had people screaming stuff about Call of Duty-style pandering)"

Been replaying this on my steam deck now that it's been updated with modern controls and is now fully verified. Have to say I'm surprised to see how well it holds up. Was a great game in 1998 and it's still a great game 25 years on.
