Lots of franchises are ripe for Lego games. These, however, are definitely not.
From GameWatcher: "Developer Traveller's Tales is working on a new LEGO video game built using the Unreal Engine, recent job listings on the WB Games career site reveal.
The new LEGO video game will be based on a "major IP" and seems to place a greater emphasis on its online aspects."
In an interview, Traveller's Tales founder Jon Burton explains why he chose to create a director's cut of the game, Sonic 3D Blast, after 25 years.
I enjoyed 3D Blast even though it wasn't as good as the others. Also had to get used to the depth perception for jumping, and running around.
In 2003 LEGO Interactive partnered with veteran British developer Traveller’s Tales to create the first title, in what would become a series of video games based on licenses that The LEGO Group had. The first project, LEGO Star Wars, was a no brainer. Almost 15 years later, the partnership between LEGO Interactive and Traveller’s Tales, now TT Games, has produced a total of 23 video games with number 24 due out in just a few weeks. The only sensible thing to do at this point is rank those games and find out what the best LEGO Game is.
I'm getting a lot of people responded saying that I got the Harry Potter games way too low. I'd love to hear your thoughts. What is the best LEGO game so far?
I dunno bro--with RE6 looking as lame and un-scary as ever, A Lego version might actually be a tad bit scarier.
Lego Minecraft. Its a no-brainer.
I want a LEGO Evil Dead. :P
me want a lego GTA :D
