RAMBO Draws First Blood: Debut Screens and Details Emerge

This game can't be that hard to get right, If they nail gameplay I wouldnt give a damn about graphics.

Give me reasonable sandbox elements like somewhat open level design, destructable trees and flimsy cover, stealth that let's me secretly wipe out whole areas if I'm good enough, and somewhat competent enemy A.I. and I will be more than pleased because I love the films and it wouldnt take much more than that to make me happy. May the devs could throw their own story or dialog improvements into the mix, the extra effort would be noted.

It doesn't have to be nearly as large as just cause 2, and doesnt even need nearly that amount of destruction.

It's worrisome though. The game comes out kinda soon and there's still no gameplay, barely any screenshots, and the teaser trailer is a bunch of clips from the movies.

Id be happy if the game turned out like a lower budget crysis with it's own unique Rambo flare. If the game has decent crysis/farcry elements to it while giving the game a few different twists to make it it's own, I can't see the game bombing.

It's not a good sign when they show parts of the movies instead of game-play videos... and it's suppose to be out soon (that's what they say on the video).

Honestly i don't expect much.

As far as I'm concerned movies 1 & 4 kicked ass and were somewhat plausible scenarios, but 2 & 3 were piles of abhorrent utter shit that were unfortunate to ever grace the big screen. Call me picky.

I'm praying this is a good game so much. I love the Rambo movies and he is perhaps my favourite character of all time. They better not ruin this and if this is good I'll love life.

Agreed. First Blood is actually my favorite film of all time (TRON coming up behind it) and I have a LOT of hope that this game will be good, despite the developer's credits (let's face it, Heavy Fire wasn't all that great a game).

Screw chuck norris, a REAL american martial artist icon was Benny "THE JET" Urquidez, He fought international Full contact KB and stars in asian martial arts movies which chuck wouldn't do since his bout with Bruce Lee, just 2 fight scenes from jacky chan movies would put ALL of chuck norris's fight movies/tv shows to shame.

Rambo is one of my favorite action movies of all. Unfortaunatly I have a feeling they gonna screw it up.

When you think about it Rambo can make a pretty damn awesome game if done right. Rambo supports the use of stealth, kills (very gory) and intense action sequences in several different environments (town, forest, jungle, desert).

But again I have a feeling this is just a studio trying to make a quick buck rather than making a good technical game.

I look forward to seeing the game develop. Maybe they can throw in a certain element that will give the gameplay a somewhat special/refreshing feeling. If not, maybe there will be a cheap thrill in there.
