Square Enix is bringing Final Fantasy III and other games for OUYA

Square Enix is planning to bring Final Fantasy III and other games for the kickstarter console, OUYA. FFIII will be released simultaneously with OUYA in 2013.

this is a big deal no matter what some gamer's seem to think about the OUYA!

the fact that Square has jumped at the offset of this new Console so fast off the bat, is a very good sign.

How is getting Final Fantasy in any form for a new console let alone a new start up, and that Square Enix also stated that they will be providing more content for the console in the future.

The fact that a big publisher who made and distributed their franchises for big sale's of systems from Nintendo , Microsoft and Sony and now Square is Supporting a Game console with the look's of it right now under 100,000 systems for pre launch release. IF that is not Something that is shocking, i do not know what is.

Think about that a new Game console start up with less than 100,000 unit's pre launch is getting a big 3rd party games publisher to release a game on this new system, and it's not a big deal?

Er... It runs Android if I remember correctly. FF3 is already on the Android Market so they really only needed to just give the ok for more money. (and some tweaking so it right if SE is nice)

the news is not that Square is putting an old Final Fantasy game on the OUYA, the News is that a big 3rd party Publisher such as Square is supporting such a new console on the market!

How is it that some Gamer's seem really unhappy that a brand New game console on the market from another company that is not Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony is being put out in the market and is getting 3rd party publisher support a bad thing?

Calling a quad core ARM chipset a gaming console is just as rude as calling a go kart a sports car. Also this isn't a console on the likeness of others and has many flaws.

1. Hackable- Well that is right there is something consumers don't want to hear.

2. ARM- For mobile it is great and the only option but for 50 inch gaming needs it would lead a lot to be desired.

3. Brand Reconition- Economics show that we are less likely to get something if we don't know what it is. Why is McDonalds so successful? Not because it is cheap but it is the same experience anywhere. Same principle here is we know Sony,Microsoft,Nintendo we don't know this out of no where company that hasn't even shown that this console will still be a reality.
