From what I'm hearing is that the only thing similar to this and smash bros is the presentation. The gameplay appears entirely different. Looks like a great game. I can't wait for this and the next smash bros

I've been thinking about it and I kind of wish they hadn't used SSB as a sort of template but rather Power Stone. Not enough games like Power Stone and Allstars probably wouldn't have received such outrage for modelling off of it.

Despite Power Stone being a good game it's camera angles were not exactly user friendly. It made it hard to know if you had the person in your sites or if you were even in line with the person you were trying to hit. Also things like Sweet Tooth's Robot form wouldn't fit very well in the arena

So then what is the purpose of the article? It's an article where nothing new is learned and it is apparently not even based on the beta, but "other footage."

It's fairly simple: either your headline is misleading or you broke the NDA. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

I'm not going to leave it alone, because I'd love to post video and get tons of hits on it, but I'm not because those were the rules.

true but in this article there is nothing you learn new that you already didn't know about if you know anything about the game. No such spoilers what so ever just 1st impressions, and if punished for it than so be it and leave it alone.

Loads of people are attacking this game and they are claiming that it's terrible because it borrows some mechanics from Smash Brothers but from what I've seen it doesn't appear to be a bad game. The same goes with little big planet Karting.

Of course they're not bad games. People just love to b**** and moan.

It's been accounted by many people who have played Battle Royale that the gameplay, goals and strategy is completely different to Smash Bros and that it's fun as hell. The only real similarities are in its presentation and that it's a console mascot brawler.

I've played the LBP Karting beta and it's so much fun. People can call it a Nintendo rip of all they want, but it's been many years and iterations since Mario Kart has done much different or innovated. The Play, Create, Share element breathes new life into the genre and can only imagine what the community comes up with, based on previous LBP creativity.

I received a beta invite for PS All-Stars Battle Royale AND I received a beta invite for Little Big Planet: Karting. I have never subscribed to PS+ and I'm not active on the PlayStation forums. I'm not sure what the criteria are to be selected, it might be random or it might be based on PSN usage.
