I would import, but I don't think those codes would work on my US account.

Rainstorm814283d ago

You could always make a Hong Kong account to redeem the codes on then the items would be available to all the accounts on your system (ps3)..or just wait til the items become available in the US like most preorder/limited edition items do

"The limited edition includes the George St-Pierre pack, Police Protection Pack, Martial Arts Pack, and a Deep Undercover pack (this includes a "plain clothes" costume to make you harder to detect and an undercover car). Sleeping Dogs – Hong Kong Special Edition will retail for $388HKD or $50."

I bet all this "DLC" will be unlockable later on in the game. This is just to get certain abilities earlier in the game than you originally would have. Think about it. With George St. Pierre's input being such a big part of the project, I doubt gamers will be deprived of GSP specific moves simply because they didn't pre-order from Bestbuy.

I remember a Gamestop employee telling me that the ONLY way I'd be able to get the Lightning Hook in Infamous 2 was to pre-order from Gamestop. What a load of bull.

WeskerChildReborned4283d ago

Yea most likely they'll come out later but probably at a cost when you could just pre order and get them for free.

banjadude4283d ago

I was thinking the same thing, as I was about to pre-order from EB Games (I really want the Police Protection pack). But, based on what we were both thinking, I opted for the Futureshop exclusive steelbook instead. Much better trade-off I think.

Even though I do live in Hong Kong, I tend to buy the US version of the games since my main account is a US one. But regardless, I'm getting this on steam.

It's A Crime That There's No Sleeping Dogs 2 Yet

Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."

LG_Fox_Brazil4d ago

I agree, I consider the first one a cult classic already

isarai3d ago

You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is

CrimsonWing693d ago

That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.

solideagle3d ago

Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion

Abnor_Mal3d ago

Doesn’t Microsoft own the IP now since they acquired Activision?

DaReapa3d ago

No. Square Enix owns the IP.

Abnor_Mal3d ago

Oh okay, Activision owned True Crime, but when that didn’t sell as intended it was canceled. Six months later Square Enix bought the rights and changed the title to Sleeping Dogs.*

Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.

watching the video is better then going through 31 pages of gamingbolt.

Do they explain in the video why there are two numbers 3? Starfield and Tears of the Kingdom?

It's always refreshing to see games embracing the streaming community.

Bloodborne is a game I still restart and play every few months. I would welcome just a re release in 60fps with a visual upgrade. It's a perfect game. If I was king for a day I would include the randomizer mods because then it would be a kind of rogue like and I could play it forever.

gleepot349d ago

Sure, ill take a sequel to all of these.
