GameArena - Quantum Conundrum Preview

GameArena - It’s impossible to review Quantum Conundrum without mentioning the broad shadow of Portal. Originally conceived as a student project called Narbacular Drop, what would become Portal had as its central idea the first person negotiation of a series of devious experimental test rooms. Rather than play the nefarious scientist looking on from behind reinforced glass, Portal saw you playing as the guinea pig, scurrying about each test chamber with only your wits and a portal gun.

Why does this preview have a score?

annus4292d ago

If you looked at the article for 2 seconds you would realise that it's a review and that whoever wrote the title for N4G put a p at the start. I don't think people do previews for games that came out months ago, but I could be wrong.

ChronoJoe4292d ago

Doesn't matter. It's listed as a preview and has a score listed.

It's listed in correctly, shouldn't be up, that was my point.

Not sure where you are reading that (unless N4G has now changed it. Up the top of N4G it is under the review section, it say's 'Read full review' on the link to the site, and it also says 'Submitted by -Mezzo- 7h ago | review'. And then on gamearena's website it says 'Reviews' and a score of 5.5. Seems to me everywhere points that it is a review, apart from the title that says preview, and like I said, I think that is pretty obvious that it is a review given the other points listed, and the fact that the game is out already, so a preview would be stupid.

Irrelevant. The rules here dictate that the title has to accurately describe the article content.

It should not have been approved as-is.

Superhot is an amazing game. Not sure about the others.

kayoss2246d ago

When compared to Sony's offering? Nope. But if you're not comparing it to Sony's then i said it will be a decent offering.

This month the games dont interest me. But there is always next month...Free is free. Neither of these companies have to give anything for free.
