From the PlanetPlaystation.com feature top 10 list:
"If the current trends of what’s being made in the game industry are a superlative indication, it’s that reboots are all the rage. Just look at the remakes that exist in the form of modern incarnations, such as Kid Icarus, or the arrivals that have released to capitalize on titles that have merely been out a decade or so with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary being the latest offender. Then again, there are franchises that have numerous titles getting constantly released over and over in various forms across innumerable platforms. Resident Evil is a prime example, appearing on the PlayStation, GameCube and Wii just to name a few. So, it begs the question why these ten titles haven’t been given the opportunity to be resurrected and shine once more."
Cultured Vultures: "Godzilla is approaching the generator, and he's also approaching our list of the best Godzilla games."
Despite hardware limitations, intrepid NES developers were able to make a massive variety of epic shoot-em-ups with gobs of enemies loosing salvoes of missiles and bullets at a hero and—magically—the system handled it all like a champ. Shmups on the NES rarely even experience any slowdown. Amazing!
Gun.Smoke was what I always played. Became too much at times with all the enemies and things flying at you from every direction, fun game though.
Crisis force, Gradius 2, over horizon, the three best shooters on the NES for me personally.
From Xfire: "Video game movies don't exactly have the most stellar record.
There's a long list of movies that have been released ever since the video game industry started way back in the 1980s that serves as proof that, just because a video game is good it doesn't mean that a movie based on it will perform well.
Then again, that hasn't stopped studios from trying.
In fact, most recently, we've seen live-action adaptions of popular franchises like Mortal Kombat, and Final Fantasy announced.
With that said, just because there's plenty of bad video game movies doesn't mean that there aren't any good ones.
While these movies definitely didn't win too many awards, they did do their fans well."
Detective Pikachu was a good movie have yet to see Sonic as for Street Fighter I like Van Damme and Raul Julia but I thought the Tomb Raider movie with Angelia Jolie or the 2018 reboot were better.
I must say, I liked the Tomb Raider movie more than the game it was based on (in terms of story). Still hoping to see a sequel for it
Mortal combat is ridiculously stupid but it's also so much fun. That intro scene alone has me in tears....
Bushido Blade, Chrono Trigger/cross, Dino Crisis, Battletoads, and just for a laugh Snake Rattle & Roll...
I want a new Rampage and General Chaos bad!!
That was a terrible list.
- Bushido Blade
- Project Overkill
- Ninja
- Croc
Bring Back 2Xtreme just imagine online bike racing, skateboarding, downhill rollerblading etc. all in one game.
