Bad Company run on a different engine. Personally I still think BC2 is better than BF3. The guns have better balance than they do in BF3.

The games lasted longer on BC2 imo, i swear i use to play on some maps for up to 2 hours at a time (sometimes)

I find BF3 too easy at times, just a case of point/shoot, i remember on BC2 i use to run across the map or shoot a few rounds off to get some attention, then id run into a near by building (ringed with C4) and bring it down once theres people inside, i use to have loads of fun of BC2

I really like BF3 but prefer BC2, im sorry i cant provide fatcs on why that is, i know how some people out there can only take an opinion on board once they have heard all the facts (you know who you are)

Edit: I was surprised BF3 had less destruction, i thought that was the point of the Battlefield series, its own little brand whatever, but no, they decided to go the COD route, you know whatll happen now, theyll add destruction to COD, then EA will add it again lol

I flat out didn't like BF3. Flashlights, lasers, bad(imo) vehicles.

After BC2 I was expecting a lot more from the acclaimed Battlefield series. Seeing as how everyone and their mother was like "if you liked bc2 just WAIT till you get to play a REAL battlefield."

Well, I found BF3 to be inferior in BC2 in every way. Aside from graphics, but I would never forsake amazing destruction for flashlights.

I will not be buying BF4. I guarantee that.

I will come back if they make a sequel to BC2 that contains what I've come to expect from the battlefield series.

Whoa They are NOT the same game!!

BC concentrates fights around the flag! Other areas of the map have very little importance in the battle to win.

BF is a more total war strategical experience where gaining and holding ground is important as you advance through out the map towards flags.

I only play conquest mode on Large maps and these maps have many key NON flag areas that are important to control. Also BF has a far greater emphasis on teamwork than BC.

Sure they are similar but are very different in strategy and tactics. I like both games but BF has become too much of a console game and has lost A Lot of the Tactics, Strategy, and Thinking that made BF2 such a hit.

Bad Company was a console game to begin with and people like Bad Company over Battlefield not because it's a better game but because it suits their playing style better and has MORE of a CONSOLE GAME feel to begin with.

Honestly I wish they kept BF a PC only game and made BFBC just for consoles. The Console versions of BF3 can be fun but there's not enough people in maps and too many vehicles, which sacrifices the gameplay. On top of that BC2 on consoles was alot more fun and didnt take itself as seriously (Tracers, C4 on UAV's). Give us the weapon customisation from BF3 in a BC game with map sizes and vehicle #'s designed for consoles and we'll be much happier.

Oh and bring back the more open/sandbox style of campaign.

I'm playing BC2 on PC mainly because I can't run BF3 very well and to be honest I do like the gameplay but everyone goes lone ranger. When I used to play BF2 it was awesome playing in a squad because they stuck together.

Raf1k1 that's because you could only spawn on your Squad Leader, now you can spawn on any member of your squad, any captured base, the spawn beacons, and in any carrier vehicle in motion. BF3 kind of kills Teamplay in favor of Rambo tactics.

The multi-player was good, but that campaign was so BAD! It was a blatant rip-off of Call of Duty 4. It was so uninspired! The writing was terrible...especially compared to the first Bad Company.

Completely agree, we all know DICE can do good multiplayer regardless of the game’s IP but the Bad Company games have so much more personality. Battlefield 3′s biggest flaw was it’s single-player offering, and I can see the same thing happening with Battlefield 4.

I did read that the Battlefield team still have a strong interest in doing another Bad Company game, so hopefully there will be another one at some point.

Flashlights, lasers, mav, soflam and claymores aren't needed. Bad company did everything right including the knifing, sometimes all I would do in a round would be going around knifing people and I would get tons of hate mail for it. Bring on bad company 3.

Why was BC2 better than BF3? Because by I loved rolling into a pristine village in a BC2 match and then seeing it fall into complete ruins by the end of a match. I hate slamming a tank round into a building multiple times in BF3 without even damaging the paint.
