Someone at Tecmo Koei has made a huge mistake when planning production of and shipping the tactical RPG "Sangokushi VIII" on PSP.
Known as the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series in the West, Sangokushi VIII was re-released as a budget game for PSP today in Japan. Gamers picking up the UMD copy booted up the disc to find an unwelcome surprise. The sticker on the UMD and box may read Sangokushi VIII, but the game that shipped was Sangokushi VII, the previous title in the series.
COG writes: If Civilization was a partying college student, Romance of the Three Kingdoms is his bumbling grandfather trying to share war stories.
The large amount of information thrown at you in the early stages of gameplay can be very overwhelming, especially to newcomers, though a lot of it can be disregarded if you’re not sure what is going on. Along with this, you can choose the Edit Officer option, allowing players to create their own characters based on the traits they like or having realistic stats, or just maxing them all out for the fun of breaking the game.
Wow.
