Shut up, I’m trying to talk about China here.) And if you’re an unwavering CoD superfan, you’re probably feeling a bit of jealousy, especially if the PC is your system of choice.

China is known for its terrible working conditions, sweat shops, long hours, high suicide rate, you name it, stating facts that don't put a country in a positive light doesn't make you a hater or ignorant, but assuming someone is because they do makes you ignorant. The nets around the building are at Foxconn. One factory that happened to hit headlines because it's the one Apple uses. Not every factory. One.

So from start to finish his comments were filled with sensationalist and utterly incorrect statements. Clearly someone who has not been there, and that kind of sensationalism comes from the American media more than anywhere else, which is why I made the guess I did.

China is not an ideal place to work, especially for factory workers, but China has a large (and growing) middle class, and minimum wages in many working-class jobs are improving.

There's the real facts. From someone who has been to China.

He may have been wrong in saying that they're all over the country but he wasn't wrong to point them out. Also it's not just American media that does this, its all media, its almost the entire point of media and that's why I do my own research and don't watch the idiotic news because its all run by biased morons anyways. I've been to China kriauciuniux... and you're wrong on every single part. I was in Beijing and found the living conditions and poverty within that country appalling. I was living in Korea at the time, so I wasn't comparing it with the western world, but other countries from the orient.

The people of China live very very underprivileged lives for the most part, apart from the odd wealthy controlling few (as always).

Its hard for any other country to compete when China openly has horrible working conditions and low as hell pay. One , an international currency based around the world Stock markets...
Two, An Internal currency that is for the chinese, its one that can not be exchanged for foreign currency...

thats how they do it. They keep it devalued by such a system, and in essence allows cheap slave labour.

Its been around for years.. I was in Beijing in 1982 (when they first openly invited westerners) . and even then, We had to convert our Australian Currency to "Friendship Money". This currency we could not exchange back to AUS dollars when leaving..

Interestingly, there was one , one only multilevel dept store that had products you could only purchase with "Friendship Currency"... And no, it wasn't aimed at foreigners, it was the only way a local could buy products that weren't available anywhere else.. Like a washing machine !!!

Call it what you will, lets say an incentive.... but everyone there loved doing business with us...

The Chinese deserve to have free access to Call of Duty. Millions of Chinese work in 18 to 20 hour per day factories and endure slave like conditions and paid US$0.60, only 60 cents per hour to mass produce cheap consumer goods.
